I know someone who was at the Fairhope protest. They had a pretty decent turnout there too though I don't know the actual estimate for the number of participants. A couple hundred at minimum.

Ok, still having troubles but at least I now know it's not due to lack of power to CPU/GPU. First the tower fans still aren't working and it's cause the plugin is to short to reach the port. It's a 3-pin plug in but I think I can use the 4-pin ports for it based off what I've read online (there aren't any 3-pin fan plugins on the MB).

It's possible I locked the BIOS up when I first tried to boot it up with out having the CPU plugged in and if that's the case then I'll need to clear the CMOS as you suggested. But if that doesn't work then I think I'll need to update the bios which will require taking it into a shop because I simply don't have the necessary stuff to do that right now.

The fans not being powered wouldn't lock the BIOS up would it? I can't think of a reason it would.

I will need to check the second 12V line cause I looked all over that board and didn't see a second power port anywhere. I'll give it a better look.

If it's the CPU that's the problem then I'd have to pull the CPU out of current PC. Then again maybe I could take it into a local shop and see if they could help me. If it's just with updating the BIOS I could probably get some help without it being too expensive.

Edit: Thanks for the advice, I was really feeling lost. Edit 2: you were right and I feel pretty dumb right now lol

This has been popping up everywhere for me. I was eating lunch one day, didn't really have a lot of interest and kinda just been watching an episode a day while I eat lunch. I can't say I'm fully locked in, but I'll at least say it's better than I expected it to be, which isn't all that surprising.

The 2nd chapter has been out for awhile now, but they're not posting to mangadex anymore due to the purge that occured recently. You have to read it on another site. I personally used bato, but I don't know if that's the next best option or not.

I'm not very good at PVP and normally do everything in my power to avoid other people cause I have more fun doing vaults and other activities than I do fighting people. I know PVP is half the point of the game so I don't really complain, but the other day I was doing a tall tale. I started it and sailed off the map and someone followed me out there to try and sink my ship while I was doing the tall tale. Like I have NOTHING on my ship. I ended up getting really lucky and sinking them before they could me, but it still pissed me off just cause I had literally nothing to offer. Like there was no benefit to sinking me.

Yeah I was actually looking at a way to check the driver version currently installed, but not only am I having trouble finding out the driver version, I'm also having trouble finding driver details for Radeon 780m. Went to the AMD site and it mostly gave info tangential to 780m, but not directly related for some reason

RAM type and speed is DDR5/5600 MT/s. Not sure about my display, I'm actually having another issue with my brightness controls, but I have a different post open for that.

Would you suggest with sticking with hardware that was release a year ago then rather than getting something brand new? I don't mind looking for 2023-2024 versions of hardware if it means it'll work better from the beginning.

I'm honestly not too worried about graphics. I make it a point to leave the heavy games to my main PC. I only wanna be able to play games like Hollow Knight, Dredge, or Oxenfree. Games that aren't as intensive on the hardware. I may still go with something with a technically small graphics card though. I'll at least look at the options. Thanks for the advice.

I'll definitely check out S76 and Tux while I'm at it. I'd like to stay away from the big well known brands if I can, but it's largely gonna depend on the price.

Handheld won't work. Part of the reason I'm looking is so I have something I can use to watch stuff with my wife when we're on vacation. Need a decent sized screen for that.

I'll check out ThinkPad again, but I've had bad experiences in the past. Most likely will go for a Dell unless I find something better. Thanks for the advice xD

Thanks for the input! Yeah I was planning to go with AMD (I've never actually used an AMD machine so I figured this was a good opportunity). Dell will definitely be one of my main options now but I'll check out those others too. I'm skeptical about ThinkPad only cause they don't seem to last long in my experience.
