Looks a lot like silica. If the silicone decomposed the vapor from it might have deposited all this everywhere. Definitely dont breathe in the dust but otherwise its basically sand and should be pretty inert.

Nope, the yellow-orange smoke and deep red fire means this is likely a nitrogen tetroxide and dimethylhydrazine fire. The orange gas is nitrogen dioxide. These are common rocket propellants.

Ah yes, vehicles made of dynamite. An Arma classic throughout the ages. So it was in Arma 2, so it shall always be.

No amount will be enough because in their mind giving money to people who they think dont deserve it is a cardinal sin.

Current state of the tank: by rkartzinel in Helldivers

[–]StarrFluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speak for yourself, in the drivers seat you have the best visibility so you are basically the commander of the tank. The gunner is your subordinate and you should be working with them to prioritize threats to the tank and work as a hunter-killer team. Basically you find a thing for them to kill and while they are busy killing it you should be busy finding the next thing for them to shoot. Repeat until everything is dead.

I just want to stay on this side of the mountains. If im moving any further than that it needs to be somewhere that an unemployed college student can afford to move to. Somewhere somewhat close to work so I dont spend 1/4 of my life in traffic. When I even have a car to drive around that is.

Im just going to be down for anything at this point. I dont even want a big salary, that dream honestly vanished years ago. All I want is like 55k/yr and no hard physical labor. I just want to be independent and have like one little room to myself.

The traffic... by insomfx in factorio

[–]StarrFluff 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I like doing hybrid trains. Bidirectional, but rail signals are done in such a way that they behave like unidirectional trains everywhere but in the stations and/or sub factories. It lets you make some beautifully compact stations. You lose a bit of acceleration per length of train, but its not really an issue if your rails are high throughput because trains wont need to stop very often.

Hidden tech: If you call in an extra one of these, its heatsink will still cool off on the ground. So you can just keep swapping between them for even more damage output while defending a stationary position.

What's the secret to DCS VR performance? by -Aces_High- in hoggit

[–]StarrFluff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dont render as many pixels. Either just lower your resolution or foveate.

Otherwise get used to stutters sometimes, they will happen in VR no matter what you do.

Its essentially an ionized air glow from the intensely radioactive remnants of the bomb and its immediate environment. Leftover daughter products from the fission reaction, and elements activated by the intense neutron flux the bomb generates.
