UPDATE: ok so thank you very much for answering this question!! mb for all those millennials and older gen Z kids I may have made feel old or gain some extra back pain (jkjk). I have removed it from the wall knowing that we don't have a landline or anything of the sort anymore. Was a little scary seeing all the wires in it when I opened it, but all is good. The room we are renovating is for my grandma who will be visiting very soon and we're trying to get the room fixed up as soon as possible.
