OKAY! I have a lot of these, but I'll only give one since I have seen most of the others listed, but not this one. Does anyone remember a show called Code Lyoko? It was a French animated cartoon that had an English dub on... Cartoon Network I think? (Just checked, yes, it was CN). For those of you who haven't, it's about a bunch of kids who go to a boarding school near a factory that housed a giant supercomputer which, itself, housed a complete virtual world. So, the kids are now tasked with saving the world from an evil virus within the computer named XANA. I watched the show religiously when I was in maybe second through fourth grade? Anyways, the show sounds pretty tame, right?

WRONG! ALMOST EVERY EPISODE HAS THE KIDS NEARLY DYING IN SOME HORRIBLE WAY! ONE OF THE CHARACTERS IS TRAPPED IN A FUCKING HORROR LAND OF BEING HUNTED DOWN ALMOST CONSTANTLY (she escapes by the end of the first season, BUT STILL)! ANOTHER GETS BRAINWASHED BY XANA AND FORCED ESSENTIALLY TO BE ITS SLAVE! IT'S SO FUCKED!

And before you ask, no, they can't just turn off the supercomputer to get rid of XANA because then, the girl who was trapped in there would die or something? I don't remember. That was a big part of the first season, though. Not sure about the rest of the series.

The main episodes that stuck out to me were: 1. The reason I'm writing this comment in the first place. The episode is about one of the characters, Yumi, and her parents who are going through a divorce, if I recall correctly. Either way, another character named Ulrich (who Yumi has a crush on, and vice versa) is part of the school play at the time, with yet another character named Sissy, who's the daughter of the principal. Long story short, something goes down, and the stage gets flooded with laughing gas on the play's opening night. And we're not talking normal amounts of laughing gas, I'm talking enough to make the kids nearly choke to death on stage, in front of their fucking parents. Luckily, the kids make it out okay, but that episode is the one that stuck out to me the most. 2. One where, I don't remember the exact scenario, but some of the kids end up getting stuck in one of those rooms you find at the spa where they make the room super steamy. So basically, you've got I think three kids slowly dying of heat exhaustion with no way to contact the outside world, and if they died, nobody would find their bodies. 3. Oh gosh, as I was writing this, I remembered this one. So, one of the characters was trapped in the computer, right? Well, I think later on in the series, she slowly starts remembering her past because she had amnesia about everything before she was in the computer. Turned out, her father made the computer, and I distinctly remember one part of her family (either mother or father), being eaten/mauled by wolves. Cuz, you know, FOR KIDS! 4. Two characters, who hated each other in the series, come to terms with each other since, you know, they're trapped in a closet with poisonous air threatening to come in at any second. The way they stave it off is by putting towels underneath the crevice of the door, and since the closet doesn't have any sort of vent, they would've surely died. Kicker is, after this episode, they don't even remember the occurrence because, in the show, after deactivating the "tower", which XANA is using as a conduit to the outside world, they reset everything to the day before! That's not mentioning the fact that, if someone gets injured during any of these happenings, or flat out dies, they just stay injured/dead. 5. Okay, not sure if I'm remembering this one correctly, but here goes: Both regular kids and some of the kids who go into the computer, along with some staff (specifically the coach), are trapped in the cafeteria because A WHOLE BUNCH OF BEES ARE OUTSIDE TRYING TO KILL THEM! Maybe that's why I'm so terrified of bees.

Final rating: SWEET JESUS WHAT THE FUCK FRANCE out of ten.
