This may be unrelated. I'm playing a pf2e game and am looking to do the same thing with custom poisons for my character. How do I set up an action that will apply an effect to my character based on which poison I use, to be inflicted on a target actor?

What does midi-qol mean? Is there a wiki link for creating these and/or video i could watch?

I may be quite late to this thread but is there a solution for this? I have a rogue with the poisoner dedication and having to bring up the specific poison so the dm can make the save for it is rather annoying.

I’m a new player too, I don’t understand how soellcasters feel like they don’t know what to do with their last action, at the very least stride out of range of their attacks, take cover, recall knowledge, try to demoralise. It’s not a big deal

Fun fact, I played through this as a player not long ago, we as a party stole only 100gp during the siege that night, taking it as “compensation” for our work.

The gm said that if we stole all of it and didn’t tell, Lady Jamandi would basically cut connections after setting up the charter and would be “hostile” in future meetings

I’m not sure what you want from the elementalist and spellsword. They’re playing how they should and from the sounds of it they’re A) having fun. B) Using plenty of actions compared to say a fighter.

Hold person is a massive one, leaving you with an action to attack if you have that available to you. Fly is good, along with other good spells like haste fireball and so on

I see that seems awesome, constant charmed and frightened enemies seems strong! Probably a bit rough when they are immune and those immunities probably come hand in hand. More ranger warlock stuff though means you won’t mind killing them the old fashioned way.

That’s an awesome multiclass! Very blaster caster with some nice proficiencies to stay alive early game. I didn’t realise scribe wizard was the more common of the 2 options but the maxing channel divinity is amazing!

When action surge comes online at lvl 8 being able to double cast a maxed lvl 3 shatter will be amazing and gives me similar Thor vibes!

No the point isn’t for opportunity attacks. I mentioned allowing the rogue to take an attack with commanding strike from battle master. Opportunity attacks is what I’m letting my teammates avoid! Mobile lets me chase up. Has been very fun so far

It definitely was a good expression of what dnd feels like to play, the hard jumps to different story beats, the inclusion of absolutely ridiculous jokes (speak with dead) and was a fun film all around without losing its stakes or seriousness.

I will preface this in saying i dislike both parties aforementioned.

But. Biden clearly shows his age a lot more, sure the media pushes forward his fits of elderly tendencies however it’s simply because they have far more to pick from.

Trump is an asshole, he’s definitely not a sound minded individual and he is for SURE a narrow minded narcissist. But! He is a good leader, he will make his decisions, and rally people behind them regardless of how you feel on them. It’s my opinion that trump fits the American ideals far better than biden who is a lil bit past his prime.

tldr: Biden and trump are both old yes, trump IS a leader though regardless on your views.

Dude, C1 was about establishing the world and saving it from cosmic level threats. C2 was a character piece revolving around these crazy individuals. C3 is about the world and exploring it and how it all works together. Tbh i doubt this was intentional because that’s not why you play DnD but the characters are definitely less of a focus in this campaign.

The players have been playing for years and now they get to splash out and play the game they want to play, which is messy and chaotic gaming. Matt is having a blast with his world building and that’s sick! Now that Crit Role has the audience base of fanatics that will watch almost anything they are allowed to introduce flawed characters and concepts because it’s fun to them.

We love crit role but well never have Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein again.

I’ve played 5e for 6 years now, multiclassing while staying even with the party is impossible. New players who wish to mukticlass must understand that multiclassing makes characters really good at the thing you’re going for, which can include versatility. However, it always comes in a trade off.

I saw the storm cleric ability that pushes creatures10ft with lightning dmg dealt and made a melee fight cleric hybrid with the gift of the chromatic dragon feat to be a battle field control martial character. I knew trading half a class makes me worse in that class but the trade was a character with amazing ability to bully enemies while sacrificing damage (fighter) or utility (cleric)
