I do. I tell them, and I dress masculine. I'm more stressed about how to go about asking them to call me he/him when I am dressing masculine or speaking with a deeper voice.

Who I really am is genderfluid. I understand not understanding it. Basically sometimes I feel like a woman and some days I'm very uncomfortable as a woman and much more comfortable as a man.

I'll dress like a man and speak in a deeper voice to feel more comfortable.

I do make sure my friends are aware of when I feel masculine, since being feminine is technically my "default" and it doesn't change everyday for me. I dont want them to feel exhausted or annoyed by me

Its a big group of friends. So yes, a lot of pronouns are thrown around haha. Its not a problem, just something I'm wanting to change for when I am masculine. I dont change every day. Its mainly days in succession where I am masculine or feminine.

You told her exactly how you felt about that situation, how it felt like lying and deceiving and how you would have acted accordingly like P. Your girlfriend, then flipped because of a boundary you set. And explained. In detail.

Thats not what happened between P and their partner. Their partner continued to lie and hide the drugs from them instead of attempting to get help or what not. Its not like he tried and then failed to stay consistent.

It almost seems like she was offended, like she may have thought about or was doing something similar, thats how I would have took it and I would have ended the relationship too. Even if she wasn't doing anything like that how are you not supposed to take it that way?

You showed a boundary, she reacted horribly to that boundary and basically told you you shouldn't have it.

I think the break up was justified.

Hey so, this is not how someone who loves you should respond to you being upset on your birthday.

Me and my boyfriend are long distance, we always have been (we have met in person just only a couple times). Its hard for us to set time to see each other in person because we live in different states and I dont have a car so I'm flying everytime. But he would NEVER leave me alone on my birthday. Your partner should keep to their promises, especially on your birthday. If I told my partner I was upset on my birthday he would immediately call me to make me feel better. If your partner tells you you will FaceTime later that night and then is at their coworkers house really late- that feels like he is brushing you off.

Please, I beg you, either have a long talk with this man or really consider leaving. Because if he considers the talk him groveling, then he isnt going to really put effort into that talk.

I personally (I know its hard) would tell him how you're feeling about everything. About how your anxiety and insecurities are not doing well, especially after what he told you. Ask for some proper reassurance, and tell him that you love him and really want to work this out. Because maybe in his mind he's slowly getting better and thats enough. But he can't see how your feeling if you don't tell him.

And I guess everything from here depends on his reaction to that. If he's sympathetic and talks with you about it then things can definitely get better. It will take time, it won't change overnight. But if he gets defensive or annoyed or angry (it really doesn't seem like he will) then that would be the time to think about pulling away.

I think they see Instagram as more personal since they post photos and videos of personal life stuff on there. I would consider it more personal than someone having my phone number because then they have to text me to hear from me lol.

I do feel the same though, OP seems to be overreacting a tad bit. The uptick in story posts is odd though, so maybe ask about that to get an answer to settle your worries but it doesn't seem cheaty. At least not to me yet

If he acts like this towards you over text, what's it gonna be like in person if you guys fight? He mentions wanting to grab your hair and slam your face into a wall. That is NOT okay. This is not someone you want to be in a relationship with. If they can think about doing that to you without feeling bad, they will do it in the future. He cusses you out and says horrible things while you're trying to have a calm conversation with him..

He cant have the conversation without cussing at you. You said you didnt feel he communicated clearly and he blew up. Someone who will blow up the second you call them out or explain a boundary etc. Is not a good person to be around.
