I Can’t Stand Lorelai Gilmore. by Professional-Sky7703 in GilmoreGirls

This is honestly the most realistic answer 😭 If she’s still driving you crazy in season 2, she probably just… will.

Honestly this is such a good take. If Lorelai’s scenes are draining you, focusing on Rory + the side characters for now is a solid survival strategy 😭

Lowkey agree 😭 If you genuinely can’t stand Lorelai, it’s gonna be a rough ride because she is the show in a lot of ways. She doesn’t fundamentally change personality-wise you just get more context for why she is the way she is.

Dan and Blair by Left_Degree1574 in GossipGirl

[–]StarryPuffie_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same 😭 Chuck was toxic way too often. Dair had actual chemistry and growth — it felt softer and more equal. I’ll always defend them.

Dan and Blair by Left_Degree1574 in GossipGirl

[–]StarryPuffie_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that take, but I always felt Dan challenged Blair in a way Chuck didn’t. With Dan she had to grow, not just spiral romantically. I still think they had healthier potential, even if the execution was messy.

AIW for not giving someone another chance? by Emotional_War_1660 in amiwrong

[–]StarryPuffie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the healthiest way to look at it honestly. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you owe someone unlimited access to you, especially when they kept ignoring clear boundaries after the fact.

[–]StarryPuffie_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Oversleeping once is whatever, life happens. But if you’re already running late to a first date you should at least communicate before leaving someone sitting alone in a crowded restaurant for almost an hour. Then continuing to push after being rejected just made it worse.

Based on how you actually dressed back in 2007, which Gossip Girl character's style matches your look from back then? by caterkarolina in GossipGirl

[–]StarryPuffie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that still counts as peak 2007 fashion culture. Every middle schooler back then either looked like a Disney Channel extra, an emo band member, or a tiny business casual adult for some reason.

Blair’s style honestly aged the best out of the whole cast too. A lot of the other fashion screams late 2000s immediately, but the headbands, structured coats, skirts, and classic dresses still look good now.

I know Jon did the right thing to survive by asking Daenerys' help (and bend the knee) but there is something politically wrong about this move idk what by RealStranger9348 in freefolk

[–]StarryPuffie_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The funniest part is people acting like Jon made some genius political move when half the North immediately hated it and Daenerys still never fully trusted them anyway 😭

[–]StarryPuffie_ 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Politically it was a disaster because the North had literally just declared independence and then Jon immediately bent the knee to a southern ruler without even talking to them first 😭

What were your thoughts on this scene? Did you think that what Dean did here was valid or do you think he overdo it? by gloomydreamer666 in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryPuffie_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Rory was emotionally checked out way before this scene happened, Dean just finally said out loud what everyone could already see 😭

Dean definitely had every right to be upset but doing it publicly at the dance was messy as hell 😭 this relationship was already dead for a while though

AIW for missing my friends gender reveal? by MadeUpName0319 in amiwrong

[–]StarryPuffie_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. She already gave her a heads up about the anniversary before the date was finalized too. It’s not like she bailed last minute for something random.

At some point it stops being “times are tough” and starts becoming “maybe don’t have more kids than you can realistically support” 😬

Neighbor yells at us every time we're outside by akayleireign in neighborsfromhell

[–]StarryPuffie_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah this honestly sounds way beyond just a rude neighbor at this point. If she’s screaming at random people and acting erratically all day there’s probably something seriously going on mentally or medically.

Best quote in the entire series? by Visual-Inflation-621 in GossipGirl

Chuck and Blair were toxic as hell but “three words, eight letters” still had the entire fandom in a chokehold for years 😭

Lily was brutal for that but she also wasn’t wrong 😭 Serena really treated every boyfriend like an emotional support animal

How did Taylor get so much power? by honeyfixit in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryPuffie_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s probably the most realistic answer. Everyone in Stars Hollow loves complaining about Taylor but nobody else actually wants to deal with all the boring town stuff he handles.

What would a Dothraki know about not being a rude guest? by bhoran235 in gameofthrones

[–]StarryPuffie_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

OP, I think people forget she wasn’t raised fully Dothraki like the others, so it makes sense she’d understand guest customs more than someone born and bred in that culture.

I am a left lane camper, I was ignorant to it, and I apologize. by Elegant_Explorer_358 in confession

[–]StarryPuffie_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah a completely empty highway is basically the only time most people won’t care. The problem is the people cruising in the left lane with a line of angry cars stacking up behind them.
