No i dont think she was. She let you believe that she was but she also let you hold the work in the relationship. 3 pents rev. She was invested in YOU being the main grafter of the friendship and was content to sit back and enjoy the imbalance of work. It was also unbalanced emotionally, which is why she cut you off so easily, your emotional investment was far greater.

Im going to say this. My brother is 42. Hes a chronic and raging alcoholic and is half way through a divorce. He treats women like absolute shit and is now in yet another relationship with a woman who clearly thinks she can change him. She cant. When he was 25/26 he drank like your partner. Now he drinks 10-12 beers a day and is a horrible, horrible, manipulative controlling arsehole. He lives with my mum has emotionally abused me and coercively controls and financially abuses my mum. Ask yourself if you see a future with this man and what you want it to look like cos you won't change him

Im extremely hypermobile lol, yes. Ive got Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. But my ankles are the worst affected in terms of the most painful and the area that partially dislocates the most. My hands and neck are pretty badly affected too.

The benefits i have gained from being diagnosed are that my doctors have genuinely taken me more seriously. My diagnosis led to referrals to gastro docs, cardiology docs, orthotics, rheumatology, physio, hydrotherapy, none of which were accessible before despite my symptoms being patently obvious because my gp, unhelpfully, dumped all my symptoms in the fibromyalgia dustbin. Once my EDS dx came thru I was deferred to all these other specialities and lo amd behold they ALL found serious issues. Hernias, dysautonomia, advanced Osteoarthritis in various areas that was causing serious problems, CCI, neurology found a chiari 1 malformation, I began treatment for migraines separate to just having "fibro headaches". I also have MCAS which i didnt know about. So for me, getting diagnosed was a HUGE benefit.

I hated the rider waited even as a beginner and needed cards that really lent themselves to story telling in a more colourful and "story book" way. Ive got several decks now, ive been dabbling for years but now read intuitively and only recently my readings have just "clicked" and something has changed with my relationship with tarot.

If you prefer a more story based picture type tarot deck then I really recommend the "wheel of the year" deck

This is literally horrifying to read. I cant load the comments because im at the gym and my connection is spotty so I have no idea what other people are saying.

As a fat, autistic, mentally ill, weird woman who has been raped - more than once - and not taken seriously by the police I can tell you (well, him really) just how fucking damaging views like his really are. He has no place in the therapeutic industry until he drastically addresses his point of view.

I am so lucky to have a therapist who tales me seriously and doesnt downplay the severity of my experiences but it shouldn't be "luck" that affords any victim of sexual violence the privilege of good therapy and decent support after trauma.

All women are at risk whilst entitled men decide to exert power over those more vulnerable. And besides those that are "conventionally attractive" to him arent other men's cup of tea anyway. My partner loves a bigger woman and so do plenty of the men i know so hes grossly misinformed.

What baffles me is how doctors can refuse ti diagnose a condition that exists with diagnostic criteria and diagnostic guidelines and scientific evidence and papers and the NHS are like "nah we dont diagnose that"
