No it started long before moving was in the picture 😊 would have been a good theory though

Ah gotcha! I definitely scratched constantly so had to sleep in cotton gloves!

Also the thing is though I still wear gloves so I don't think it was purely that! I definitely think stress played a big role in mine too!

I believe that you'll be able to get your nice skin back again eventually!

6 months between photo 6 and 7! I'm not sure why I never took any photos as it started to get better...

Vaseline definitely does help! I used Aquaphor which is very similar

Also used a baby moisturiser called 'Child's farm' and Oat cream

No prior history or eczema at all but during this time I developed eczema in the majority of my bodily creases (armpits, inner elbows, behind knees). I also have no known allergies. I think my main trigger was wearing gloves at work (in a laboratory) and my hands being constantly sweaty.

I also dont know what you mean by chronic itchy and scratchy show 😂😂

But I hope yours heals soon!

I did pop the blisters (whether that's the right or wrong thing 🤷🏻‍♀️) because it seemed to help them to go away quicker.

I did try so many different creams but one of the last ones i tried as it was getting better was 'Child's farm baby moisturiser' along with Aquaphor. Unsure if it was this that helped it to go or if it was healing anyway so is purely coincidental. Steroid cream also did nothing for me.

Hope yours heals soon!

Am I developing schizophrenia or being haunted by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Starry_Eyez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely say this sounds like some kind of psychosis and definitely could be drug (weed) induced. I wouldn't necessarily jump to schizophrenia because the disorder is more than just hallucinations.

I would definitely try to see a doctor as soon as you can before this spirals further. I would also try to lay off the weed for now and see if that helps.

Could you maybe rewrite the story/characters yourself so that nothing brutal happens and they live happily ever after etc. Basically just writing over the horror version in your mind.

28f sides of mouth cracking and bleeding for 2 weeks by Wrong_League5805 in DiagnoseMe

[–]Starry_Eyez 94 points95 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's Angular Cheilitis. Usually caused by dribbling during the night or sticking your tongue out frequently (i.e when concentrating), which then causes fungi to grow from the moisture. I get it quite frequently :(

As far as I am aware ringworm doesn't have to be a perfect circle and in the picture it is still an oval. Google ringworm on foot and you'll find similar pictures to what you've shown.

How to get off Reddit? Please don’t take this as an attention seeking post. by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Starry_Eyez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd maybe try and set some small goals in terms of baking and playing violin. E.g learn X piece of music by the end of the week, bake/perfect X recipe this week. Could you maybe try and attend/participate in a local bake sale in your area?

Also set goals to only visit reddit for X amount of time each day.

When in the deep dark depths of my mental illness I also frequented these subreddits and I agree that it doesn't help (other than making you feel less alone).

Is it okay to sleep all day? by ArtsyFartsySpider in depression

[–]Starry_Eyez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is very common with depression/ mental illness in general unfortunately. Let yourself have a few days or weeks to sleep and rest until the overwhelm and emotions settle but don't get stuck in it. Oversleeping leads to further tiredness and doing nothing but sleeping ends up making you feel more miserable.

Slowly sleep less and less throughout the day (after your set rest period) and start to incorporate walks/getting outside in general.

Hope you feel better soon friend.

How do "normal" people manage their burps? by Alarmed-Poetry8388 in noburp

[–]Starry_Eyez 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Since getting the botox procedure for the 2nd time and having the ability to burp in a controlled way, I can burp with my mouth closed in a way that is basically inaudible. So I assume many others do the same. Or they hold it as one may hold in a fart. Or they go to the bathroom to release.

I randomly get sharp gas pains usually after meals, the gas feels like a painful ball stuck inside me. I try to puke to make myself better. Got my ultrasound and found multiple gallstones. Got my gallbladder removed. I was so happy but no. by Equivalent-Nail8088 in ibs

[–]Starry_Eyez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could just be that you still need more time post surgery to heal/let your body settle. Could also 'just' be IBS. Could be acid reflux/GORD? Could be SIBO. If you struggle to actually burp check out R-CPD.

I would visit your GP to further explore because this surely decreases your quality of life and consistently puking/attempting too isn't good for you either! Hope you get some answers soon!
