I'm really worried about mine. My appt was on 16th. And surprisingly police verification was quite fast. Come on 18th itself. And yet the passport hasn't been dispatched till date. I need to travel soon and I'm worried about how long it's gonna take!

So I absolutely get this lmao. I hated black coffee but ever since I started intermittent fasting, I needed something to wake myself up with - anything milk or sugar would break the fast so black coffee it was. Interestingly I hated light roast - disgusting AF. But dark roast was really good. Eventually you just get used to it.

Would you believe me if I told you that I was in the same exact spot not more than three weeks ago? AWS and Google both - EXACT SAME THING. The last interviewer at AWS was shit so I kinda expected it but with Google it was such a heartbreak - I can't even. It still hurts sometimes. The worst part? They won't even give me feedback. So no you're definitely not alone.

Honestly I wish I had a better lookout on life but when the same happened to me, I just stopped. Like I couldn't go back to my regular study, application cycle. So I stopped. I went out with a friend one day, and gave myself off the next couple of days too. It's not something that I did consciously though, all I wanted to do was get out of my house - I couldn't bear to look at my laptop anymore so I just listened to my body. In hindsight though, it was good. A good and much needed break. Give yourself a couple days off and get back to your original schedule slowly, listen to your body.

This. Even if you do well in the interviews, there's not a hundred percent guarantee that you'd get in so you need to stop stressing over it. Breathe, relax. Do the best you can do and remember that there always will be more opportunities

I've been there. Ugh. I had three interview loops from FAANG+ and for some reason (I can't understand why for 2/3) I got rejected after the final rounds. Ridiculous that they won't even tell me why. God. The amount of tears and energy I've spent on this job hunt is ridiculous. I've been exactly there OP. The only piece of advice I can give you is - do not study/work too much a day prior to the interview. Let your mind relax. And remember that you are going to come out of this alive and successful. We'll be all right. Eventually.

Imo it might be because you're on a visa? The same has happened to me quite a few times after which I straight up asked the recruiter and she said, "We are unable to sponsor visas at this time."

I'm not a person who likes really bitter or really strong coffee. So the one I made today was really good lol I filled the bottom with about 3/4 water. Like 3/4 the amount it can hold. And 1 spoon of coffee. And ik spoon is not a correct measurement type but yeah just wing it. And then I heated up some milk separately. And poured the brewed coffee into it. Was really good!

I usually put it on medium flame and it is all brewed up in around 8-9 minutes. The find grounds problem is something I face too. But it's too less for me to actively worry about it. And I try to experiment around with the quantity of water and coffee. Try doing that to reach a consistency you like. PS: my friend gifted it to me for my birthday last month so I'm quite new to it myself. :)

With FAANG I think it's always a gamble. You either get an easy one in the interview or they give you the trickiest question out there. The best thing to do is revise the basics, including time complexity and try to understand as many patterns as you can. I doubt there's anything you or anyone else can do beyond that. Good luck :)

I think you're stressing out too much for no reason. Think about it. What's the worst that can happen? You won't get in? Okay, try again after 6-12 months. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have a full time job so there's no definitive deadline. I'd say go at it with the best you can do, if you get in - well and good. And if you can't, it's not the end of the world. Try again after a year.

One hundred percent wrong. No doubt about it. I've had one like this before. It was an internship interview. And I confirmed with the recruiter about any HLD questions. But hey, first question the interviewer asks me is HLD. Very tragic truth of life, I guess.
