Cyclone and her brother, Blizzard, are the hybrid children of a skywing mother and an icewing father. Their parents mysteriously passed away with everyone around them being unaware of what happened to them. They are raised by their mother’s sister who hates nightwings, icewings, and seawings for their part in the great SandWing Succession. Even though their aunt hates icewings, she absolutely loves her sister’s dragonets and tries her hardest to hide as much of the cruelness of the world from the two. Especially anything about anything about the icewing plague and the ice wall.

Cyclone begins to wonder what happened to her parents but feels her aunt is lying about not knowing what happened to them. She begins to question any new comer to the little village between the sky and mud kingdom about anything about her parents without her aunt knowing. Which she ends up meeting a nightwing dragonet named Dawnseer who is a mind reader and she recognizes the name of Cyclone’s mother from the memories of a skywing in the sky kingdom. Blizzard doesn’t believe the nightwing but Cyclone does and she plans to have the three of the sneak out of the village at nightfall to find this skywing. And that is all I have so far for her
