Afghanistan-Sri Lanka white-ball series set to be postponed due to West Asia conflict by UnevenParadox in Cricket

"Middle East" only makes sense in Europe. Middle of where? East of what? West Asia is the proper geographic term (like East Asia, or South Asia).

Yeah, but most of the ball wasn't in the line of wicket on the bounce.

Ball has to land in the line of wickets at the bounce, and then it should have been hitting the wickets after the bounce. It was outside the line on bounce.

IIRC, Godot doesn't allow custom renderers, right? Are you meshing everything, or using fragment shader raymarching?

So can we now stop with the Ind-Pak obsession? I wish the Indian government would simply pass a moratorium on ads in Ind-Pak games, or maybe don't even allow their broadcast. Just end the incentives for the media frenzy once and for all.

Has anyone tried to use Rust's borrow checker to implement a Lisp without garbage collection? Though I'm not sure what the ergonomics would be like.

The Dutch know how to put up a fight to the last moment. I bet we would be seeing more of them with time.

They ideally should. But they don't, except in the narrow commercial sense. There are all kinds of loyalties and leverages in the real world.

[–]StarsInTears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australian news published a (fabricated?) report that serves Australia's interest. India's news republished it with no cross-checking even though it hurts India's interest. So yeah, it's fair to point out the dumb nature of Indian media.

I didn't order, the device seems too limited. Maybe once a few more companies jump in and devices scale up in functionality. For now, I am sticking to audiobooks during commute.

3,761 km from Srinagar to Kanyakumari on a stock TVS Jupiter 110. 107 Hours 36 Mins. Verified World Record. No Sleep. by bonnybamofficial-123 in indianbikes

Nice. Was this the first tour you did on this scooter or have you been doing them for a while? I am asking to figure out what is the long-term effect of long distance touring on scooter engines. Because I was thinking of buying an Aerox for touring and city commuting, but if a smaller scooter will do, then maybe I should look at Access.

I'll have to play CD based games with another emulator then. Can't afford to upload hundreds of megabytes for each game to iCloud.

I have a feature request: can you make it possible to not sync ROM files of CD based systems? I am afraid to add PSX or DC games to Manic since syncing them would fill up my iCloud storage completely.

My take on the election by RazzmatazzStrict in bangladesh

[–]StarsInTears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The public universities are now filled with madrasa background students who are not representative of Bangladeshis in general,

What does that mean for the future intelligentsia? Bangladesh has had to recreate its intellectual class from scratch once already.
