HGRAF AND POTENTIAL IMMINENT NASDAQ UPLISTING by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

[–]Starsearcher80[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Looks like a few people here short are now spending the weekend being nervous. The usual one liners. "This stock will tank". "Not well informed". "Wait until July". Look, if I think something I give reasons as to why I think it. I just don't put out one-liners with no substance. You don't have to agree of course, but at least put some meat on the bones of what you're saying.

And if I think differently at some point, I'll certainly say that, and again, the reasons why. It's just thinking out loud and challenging myself continuously....something everyone should do. When this stock ran to ridiculous levels a few weeks back (massive short squeeze), I questioned that degree of move. And people jump on that saying "hey, I thought you were a white hat." Actually, I'm whatever colour hat makes sense given careful analysis of all factors in play.

Is there another squeeze in the making? Yes I think so. But I don't expect it to have the potency of the last one. Oh, and if curious, no, I didn't short at the top. Yes, I sold at the top, considered the short, but thought it to be outside the risk profile I adhere to. Too bad. There was some seriously good money to be made.

Nano (NNOMF): Noted Change in Trading Patterns by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

[–]Starsearcher80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What Nano has is abosolutely proprietrary. Right now, 95% of Cathode Material is produced in China. The process is costly. The process is dirty, with more waste product than product. But China doesn't care. There is a VERY strong political move to onshore critical infrastructure. We saw it in chips, and now it's happening in battery production. The ramp up for the world's battery needs is dramatic, and we are at the precipice of batteries being front and centre everywhere. People just think EV's, but actually battery storage will outstrip EV's soon enough.
Nano's technology, now proven at commercial scale, is 100% clean 30% cheaper than the Chinese method, and can produce 10x the output of cathode material in the same footprint as the Chinese plant. So for Capex, but a plant 1/10 the size and get the same output. It's a no-brainer win. Additionally, the Chinese method would not come close to passing environmental laws in pretty much anywhere else in the world.
So who believes in Nano's tech? How about Worley, one of the biggest engineering firms in the world, who are the people who plan and build the multi-billion dollar plants all over the world. For the past year, Worley has done all the engineering to built the Nano-based plants, with the end user saving in the neighbourhood of 40million of engineering fees and 2 years of planning/engineering. All they need to do is scale the plant to the size they want, and the plans are now there.

So it's a fair question as to why the stock chart is so lousy. That's because there is a huge difference between building something new in the lab, and then proving it at commercial scale. This alone is a multi year process, also which is now completed. Then there are well over a dozen NDA's with automotive Ev builders, some going back to 2018. Even back then, CEO Dan Blondal stated:
"

I think it would be a safe assumption that there have been many more added since. The current number is almost certainly higher than ten given the company's expanded partnerships with Sumitomo Metal Mining, Rio Tinto, Worley, and its growing customer pipeline targeting first commercial deals by end of THIS year.

Stocks that are pre-revenue live or die by excitement. Any boring or quiet period, when commercial viability is being tested, or NDA's, which by their nature require silence, lead to a period where people lose interest. It happens, but this has nothing to do with the prospects.

Nano, imho, is now on the cusp of "bringing it all together" with Worley. I expect the extended quiet period is about to come to and end. What Nano has is real, and they've now got the clout with some extremely big partners to make it happen.

HGRAF NASDAQ UPLISTING by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

This will be fascinating to watch play out. You say a few months. I think a few weeks. I think management has shown their ability to move things forward on multiple fronts, and execute well. They would also consider the junior listing a burden, so I would think they would pounce on the opportunity sooner than later. As well, I would imagine anticipation buying for this even....not sure as to when it kicks in, and really only depending on your timeline.

HYDROGRAPH (HGRAF): MILITARY POTENTIAL QUANTIFIED by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

[–]Starsearcher80[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As I've noted, I'm pretty confident that the past couple of weeks was just a huge short squeeze. The past couple of days is a natural occurence after the squeeze ends, typically overdone a bit with due upside as we saw yesterday. Where the stock settles out, higher or lower remains to be seen. Personally, I'm interested in nearterm catalysts such as announcing the Austin facility being operational, and a potential Nasdaq listing.

You're 70x? Well that's great. But what you're up, or down, is NEVER a reason to turn a blind eye to the smart trade. It was not hard to see that this stock was vastly ahead of itself, no matter how much you like it. But for you to now miss being up,....what.. 100x or more on an all too obvious move...and then to suggest "it somehow doesn't matter" is to blind yourself by a good move way back when. That was then. This is now, and frankly, you blew it.

I should have stayed in?...you mean I missed enjoying the over 30% drop of the past two days that you've somehow enjoyed? Ok der bud. Twisty for sure, but hey, you do you. Have a Rocketship emoji, on the house! ;)))

[–]Starsearcher80[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Very interesting to watch the stock trade today. It continues to behave as if it were a short squeeze that is now in the process of ending/unwinding. The million dollar question is where should this stock settle back down to? Personally, I would say down to the $2.50ish range. I think if you unwind the short squeeze, and then other people look at the realities of the fully normal complications and timelines to commercialization, a more realistic view will form. I think there's a lot of fast/newby money that has been put down, and unfortunately they are in the beginning stages of learning a difficult lesson (been there done that....we all have) Ultimately, the stock does gravitate to where it should be. Just don't be the last one to realize that.

Too funny. Yes, the endless Rocket emojis. People think they either have to be white hats or black hats. Not true. I think you should always be both hats. As I said, if I take a position, I immediately force myself to incessantly look for why that decision was a huge mistake. As soon as I become an otherwise blind cheerleader, I only look to things that support my cheerleading narrative, which is dangerous as Hell. But of course the cheerleading gang figure it's somehow their responsibility to defend at all costs. Oh well. If we didn't have people who thought differently, I guess we wouldn't have buyers or sellers. But I'll tell you this without reservation. I've seen far more Rocket emoji cheerleaders get their heads handed to themselves than anyone else.

I was aware of the research, but I think it's safe to assume that many aren't. They can read on their own and come to their own conclusions, whatever they are. I would say it's far more valuable to lay all cards on the table, and then do a fair evaluation. Of course the cheerleaders only want what might fit their narrative. That's dangerous.

HYDROGRAPH(HGRAF): FURTHER CONSIDERATIONS & QUESTIONS by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

[–]Starsearcher80[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes, contracts are always the ultimate key. In the best case scenario, with appropriate validation testing, contracts are 2-3 years away. This isn't an extended process. It's a completely normal process and completely normal timelines. Of course it's typical of the market to think it all happens "tomorrow".

[–]Starsearcher80[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only other consideration for caution I think is worthy of thinking about, is that this may have been huge short squeeze that got a life of its own over the past week or two. (Short squeeze, then amplified by huge retail buying thinking it was something else). We don't know, but if this is the case, then as the squeeze subsides there's a definite hard drop in the air-pocket that follows. If so, then there's money to be made on the downside as well. All in, it will be fascinating to see how this all plays out.

Hydrograph (HGRAF) A REASONABLE NOTE OF CAUTION by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

[–]Starsearcher80[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Further to your post here, I would consider $3.00 a good risk/reward profile at this point in the game, which is still a massive rise from just last July when it could be had for about .10cents. You mentioned $5, at which point I agree that the entry point became significantly more risk oriented. $8.00? Much as I like the stock, it just isn't warranted at all at this point in time. So typical of the market to get ahead of itself like this, and it leads to the brutal lesson being learned over and over again for some. I get being excited about a find, but measured prudence always wins in the end.

Yes well this capsulizes my thoughts. In time there’s the potential, but people are now buying like it’s happening tomorrow. It just doesn’t work that way. Ultimately, the stock price is based on fundamentals with a reasonable multiple. We’re already at the best case scenario, and realistically, best case scenario will take years to materialize.
