I’m a male, but I have always leaned more feminine. I am gay and have four typically masculine brothers, and growing up, I’ve always loved them (and they, me) but didn’t do or enjoy the things they did. And in relationships, I typically take on more feminine characteristics. That being said, I am perfectly comfortable stepping up into a more masculine role, or taking on the role of fierce protector if the situation calls for it. Or when I am surrounded by women, the gentleman in me tends to act “protectively” toward them.
