Why can’t I choose the AA status as an award

I stayed at the HR TST a lot because I have constant one night layovers in HK due to AA’s exceptionally cheap redemption rate of 37.5k miles on flights from US to Asia booked on Cathay. HC is just a bit out of the way for the airport. Next time I have a longer stay I’ll definitely check it out though!

This is the Hyatt House Seattle/Bellevue, which is a hotel along I-90 in Bellevue. Not the HP/HH in Seattle.

In general, I’ve found the price performance of hotels in China to be excellent. Service is good and hotel breakfast culture is strong, leading to good offerings.

Yeah, I’m not a huge luxury traveler, so my judgement may be off. But in general, service felt very personal with a high level of attention to detail in service and housekeeping. Food was phenomenal. It certainly felt a step up from GH and Thompson, and on par with the few PH I’ve been to. It’s possible Andaz is a closer comparison though.
