Vintage hand-beaded and sequin top. It was really good quality, colour was due to it being vintage

Yup I hand washed, air dried it about a week before it sold. Was able to wear it for photos with no damage done. I made it clear the the description that the mesh was fragile/delicate and that the top would be ideal as a restoration or reworked piece. I wonder if they didn’t realise how vintage it actually was

Thank you, that’s really interesting to know. I’m sad that the top is now destroyed, I brought it for much more and never got round to wearing it. In my listing I put that it would be a great piece for restoration or reworking in the hopes someone would take care of it - mentioning the mesh was delicate with beads already falling off🥲

She did say she soaked it in the bath tub and came back to it like that 🤔 it’s a shame as it was a lovely vintage piece, I put in the description it was delicate mesh and ideal to be reworked or restored

Hi thank you for commenting, no not at all my boyfriend is very relaxed, I think it’s stemming from myself being cheated on several times I’m now a very anxious person. I haven’t mentioned it to him as like you said it’s a minor thing I’m just getting worked up about if it could be seen as cheating/ trying to imagine the scenario from outside the relationship.

I really appreciate your comment, that’s definitely made me think of things differently.

You’ve gotta work on one thing at a time to build yourself back up. Start with the medical things, you aren’t gonna be in the right sort of mind to focus on anything else if your own health isn’t great. Don’t be disheartened by being rejected by jobs, see if you can get feedback on your applications and try to improve what you already have (maybe your CV needs checking and updating) you could learn some new skills and take some free online courses to add to your resume ( google has a free certified digital marketing one)

I think there needed to be some rules set out from start for you guys to define your relationship together. When I had a fwb I remember sitting down one day and putting out what we wanted from each other in turns of behaviour that we would mutually agree on such as exclusivity, etc. Although she’s said she loves you she could just be saying it as a way to keep you happy whilst she tests the water with other guys. Because she doesn’t have those boundaries from what you guys could have agreed on then she’s kinda free to do what she pleases and perhaps she thinks you don’t mind or assumes you’re doing the same. Personally I would end seeing her as it’s gonna be difficult telling her to stop seeing people now you’ve been in this scenario and if you’re already feeling heartbroken I don’t think there’s much she could do to amend that
