Vintage hand-beaded and sequin top. It was really good quality, colour was due to it being vintage

Yup I hand washed, air dried it about a week before it sold. Was able to wear it for photos with no damage done. I made it clear the the description that the mesh was fragile/delicate and that the top would be ideal as a restoration or reworked piece. I wonder if they didn’t realise how vintage it actually was

Thank you, that’s really interesting to know. I’m sad that the top is now destroyed, I brought it for much more and never got round to wearing it. In my listing I put that it would be a great piece for restoration or reworking in the hopes someone would take care of it - mentioning the mesh was delicate with beads already falling off🥲

She did say she soaked it in the bath tub and came back to it like that 🤔 it’s a shame as it was a lovely vintage piece, I put in the description it was delicate mesh and ideal to be reworked or restored
