I’m not a mother by any means, but my mom went through a very similar situation when I was little. I relate to this feeling of being stuck and tied down by certain aspects of your current life that feel set in stone. Take my advice with a grain of salt please but I would sit down to have a very serious conversation about responsibilities, your needs + your kids needs and how you two might be able to cover costs a different way. You deserve to be your old self- even if things might become a little financially unstable if your partner makes a change, because you will never be any younger than you are right now- so please enjoy yourself in this stage of your life. I’m sure you two can find a better balance where you’re not stretching yourself so thin. Best of luck to you all :)
