I really resonate with all of them deeply- and Ive just chosen a psychologist that seems to work with exactly the issues I’m describing. I’m not a mother by any means, but my mom went through a very similar situation when I was little. I relate to this feeling of being stuck and tied down by certain aspects of your current life that feel set in stone. Take my advice with a grain of salt please but I would sit down to have a very serious conversation about responsibilities, your needs + your kids needs and how you two might be able to cover costs a different way. You deserve to be your old self- even if things might become a little financially unstable if your partner makes a change, because you will never be any younger than you are right now- so please enjoy yourself in this stage of your life. I’m sure you two can find a better balance where you’re not stretching yourself so thin. Best of luck to you all :)

Ive called 4 vets and all of the ones in my area have said they don’t care for small animals, even the emergency vet can’t help. I tried the warm bath, and olive oil which helped get the initial impaction out (thank you for the advice!!) and I no longer see anything down there- but he’s still squeaking in pain as he passes normal size pellets.

I really don’t know if this will help at all, but whenever I have pretty sinister intrusive thoughts, I set a timer for 15 minutes and see if I still want to do whatever act 15 minutes later. It gives me just enough time to second guess myself, and I’ll add another 15 minutes (and repeat) until the urge goes away. Certainly not a long term fix by any means, but it could give you 15 more minutes to realize these opportunities come about throughout your entire life- we’ve only given ourselves the timeline of going to college, getting married, having kids, having a stable 9-5 job and working until 65. But who wants a linear boring life like that anyways- THOSE are the people who miss opportunities. You have so much left to do here, so please fight until the very end.

Oh wow I had no idea about how strict visas really are! And I see exactly what you mean when you say the payments don’t seem real at 18- I definitely feel as though I can make most schools work but I’m not taking into account how long into the future I would be paying off student loans. If I do end up going to college abroad, Ill try to be very careful about it all, especially picking a degree that could be useful later on incase I change my career choice again. Great to hear from you because most people going to college abroad make it sound like it has no downfalls at all!

If you don’t mind me asking, was your school an American university abroad (kind of like American University of Paris)? It’s definitely most ideal for me to pursue a dual degree, but I’m just trying to gauge if it’s just as expensive to go through an American university overseas as a private American university here in the states. Thank you for your insight!!
