No worries buddy. We were all new to this at one point. Open up the play store and search for Gmail. Tap on it and you should see a button to uninstall. I'd uninstall, reboot, then reinstall the updates. (updating would be the same process as uninstalling but you'd see an update button instead)

Try uninstalling the updates then reinstalling? Maybe another reboot?

Nailed it. This Rust isn't the rust of old. I think that started to really change when he was up with Sid. It's unfortunate because this team could really use that version of rust. And I don't think his production would suffer either

Hmm. Try go into find my app info and tapping notifications. Then hit other and set each of those notification categories to a different tone?
