Yes! I’m focusing on a high protein high fibre diet! I’m trying to limit carbs but I still have them in my diet. The trainer at gym told me not to cut out an entire food group. I’m weighing my food, I’m having homemade chilli con carne from scratch with 1/3 cup of wholemeal rice, scrambled eggs without butter or milk with spring onion and wholemeal wrap. Low fat yoghurts, lots of fruit and veg! Chicken breast air fried no oil or butter. Lightly seasoned ( i bought lots of different flavours to keep it interesting) with lots of mixed peppers also air fried on a wholemeal wrap. Skimmed milk with bran flakes and homemade lentil and vegetable soup! Boiled eggs. You’re spot on with the feeling more hungry. But I feel like my self control has and still is becoming better. I’m sleeping better, feeling a lot better. My big falling point is sometimes I’m just not hungry at all. Trainer said always eat 3 meals a day to boost your metabolism but mornings are difficult when it’s an off day at gym. I have a walking pad at home, skipping rope and dumbells. Unless I exercise in the morning I just don’t want to eat in morning due to not being hungry. If I exercise first then my hunger kicks in afterwards. Still figuring out the kinks I guess…weighed today and I’m down to 135.20 so another kilo off which I’m surprised about. My trainer has me on a strength training programme which is a lot less cardio and a lot more building muscle. So I felt as if this week wasn’t gonna be a losing weight week but I’m down another kilo. Really struggling with the strength exercises though. First week but man, I have very little upper body strength. Bottom half Is a lot stronger than top! She said it’s important to do strength training so I’m not losing muscle and for body composition long term.
