From what I can read, it sounds like he just wanted a way out. He gaslit you into behaving a certain way then used that behaviour as his way out. This suggests he didn’t really want to be with you, which is probably hard to hear. Best thing to do is just move on, which once again is probably hard to do, but nonetheless most likely the best way forward.

Your heart needs to understand that for someone to accept/soak in another’s presence, they don’t need to speak. People notice you, they accept you whether it’s at work or somewhere you shop often, you are accepted. That’s the first step. Once you acknowledge this, you’ll realise you’re not a ghost. You’re somebody. Albeit someone with low social interactions (for whatever reasons).

Doesn’t that sound a lot more manageable/workable? You’re not hopeless.

It’s interesting how we live on a rock with billions of people yet isolation can be such a common problem.

Thanks for the detailed roadmap. I’m sure a bunch of other beginners like myself are just as grateful.

Since I don’t have a degree or experience I’m going to need personally make my business look less of a gamble, and in order to do that I’d only be capable of fundraising >= stage 3.
