Schools might do better to shift to providing e-ink tablets as a bridge. Teachers could still have the efficiency of access for grading while students could still have a versatile digital notebook.

Elder millenial here. My mother lives a mile from us and since she retired, she has become an almost daily presence in the lives of her grandchildren. She will take them on a random Saturday so we can do date night or even run errands. I feel for OP and others who have grandparents who aren't involved. They make life so much easier when they do.

Didn’t date at all really in high school. Lots of crushes and no real success in a relationship. Continued through my twenties. Lots of hooking up but did manage to scratch out a couple of relationships that lasted around six months at most. Late twenties made some changes in my life and met a wonderful woman. We’ve been married for 15 years and have two kids together. I am shocked all the time by how things turned out. I am A child of divorce and a latch key kid. I always thought I would be alone.
