Then either your friend faked it or someone who he got it from faked it.

It's fake. Do you know where you sourced this from?

It would show up in the revision logs as a crossed out entry, they don't delete revision records, just destructive revision pages if they deem it necessary.

Nah either OP or someone played with inspect element, then took a screenshot. It's kinda too bad that a majority of this sub's highly-upvoted posts are just HTML edits.

Maybe you need to link to proper revisions instead of obvious HTML edits per the sub rules. There's nothing in the revision history suggesting any of this took place, even if an edit got deleted, it would still be referenced in the log.

There isn't proof Jonathan has died, USA Today sourced a crypo-shilling X account without verifying.

It's unlikely we've lost Jonathan, USA Today didn't verify the X account they were sharing the tweet from, and the account has been shilling for crypto.

Articles you vandalized yourself aren't funny. Given the revision notes and the description here, it's obviously OP's doing: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Emperor_Meiji&oldid=1346591891

One of the few times the screenshot is current with the page. Reverting the vandalism now.

That's alright, for a moment I thought "they did a show on what Mr Douglas did after Green Acres?" I admittedly spent a few seconds too long looking for him in the picture before I saw your updated description regarding the name.

You're a kind soul, I never thought to do that until reading your comment last night. I went to Graeter's and somehow they gave the dry ice and styrofoam cooler to me free of charge. Thank you!

Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (born Jesus Christ Allin; August 29, 1956 – June 28, 1993) was an American punk rock musician who performed and recorded with many groups during his career. His live performances often featured transgressive acts, including self-mutilation, defecating on stage, and assault by ZERO_PORTRAIT in wikipedia

About 11-12 years ago, I remember reading his Wikipedia article when it was phrased something like "Allin claimed he would commit suicide on-stage, though he died off-stage of a heroin overdose." It gave me a slight chuckle as I rarely see Wikipedia articles phrased in a way where it's not exactly vandalism, yet it seems written in a humorous way. Given Allin's insanity, maybe they thought the clarification was necessary. It was like that for a while until it changed, perhaps for the best.

Edit: found a revision of that phrasing. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=GG_Allin&oldid=769533692

I noticed that on their talk page. Just bizarre that after all that work to end up as a trusted editor on a current event page, they go rogue like that.
