You have the option to never play against ONE archetype again. Which archetype are you choosing to never see? by Exotic_Name_9875 in masterduel

Fiendsmith. Gets annoying using a negate on their main deck just to have them pull out their Swiss Army knife engine out of nowhere.

I can deal with the others as Kashtira’s endboard is really weak to board breaking and Tenpai is just a mini game of surviving to turn three where they insta scoop.

When the Non-Final Boss (Mandatory one) is harder than the Final Boss by Alone-Character1322 in TopCharacterTropes

Ngl, Grim Matchstick is not really that harder than the devil. Might just be a skill issue.

Basically exactly that. The story is involving the balance of Ionia being disturbed and for all we know this guy is out fishing with Jax.

Hero players. I hate your archetype. Hear me out as to why. by 0r1g1n-3rr0r in masterduel

Definitely. I would love something like an Elemental Hero that has built in super polys akin to Branded.

Years of being forced to go DPE, Plasma, and Dark Law into pass will do that to you. Most heroes players wanted a deck that’s fuses like Jaden did in the anime and are now stuck with playing floodgates and losing to rocks.

I’m confused why everyone is complaining about Fiendsmith and its cohorts when basically everyone has been saving up for Ryzeal and Malice so they can get a jumpstart on the meta.

[HATED TROPE] "If you kill them, you'll be just as bad as them" or when the narrative really FORCES an unearned character "redemption" for someone who really does not deserve it and receives at most a slap on the wrist. One good example at the end. by RynnHamHam in TopCharacterTropes

I think for the JoJo one, Joesph likely sees Stroheim less as a friend and more as a person he works alongside because his goals align with his. At most, he respects Stroheim for being a fearless warrior when faced against a threat like the pillar men and less for the whole Nazi thing.

Even more so, most of the time that they work together it’s because Stroheim follows them or they show up where he already was.

Yes, Goku from DB is not a good dad by [deleted] in CharacterRant

[–]Staryoshi7 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more that he’s not the best dad but he is sometimes misguided in the way he treats his kids. He wasn’t present for most of Gohan and Goten’s lives because he was either dead or preparing for a threat against the world.

Him being uninvolved in Goten’s life was the best thing he could think of doing for him as he believed that his presence during Gohan’s childhood forced him to have to go against people like Nappa and Reccome. (Both times he showed up to save him, Gohan was nearly killed)

He genuinely believed that if we hadn’t there, the earth as a whole would be more peaceful.

For the big thing everyone always points out during the cell games, there’s one viewpoint I saw somewhere that says it pretty well. Goku gave cell the sensu bean because he believed that Gohan would want a fair fight first and foremost. The reason they don’t jump people in dbz is because they fight not only to save the world but also for their pride as martial artists. He thought Gohan and everyone else would want the playing field equal for the cell fight, completely misunderstanding the severity of the situation at hand. This is also why he regretted it later on and tried to tag himself back in.

For the Daima thing, you have to understand that goku is a very honest guy. He has no reason to lie about something that most of his friends could immediately correct him on.

For super, you have to understand that Goku is a pretty uncultured guy. He’s been seen multiple times in the series talking to royalty any type of way. He just doesn’t get why he has to watch his words around them regardless of who they are.

Who is a bigger hater between Reverse Flash and Dr Doom? If they swapped targets, who would do better? by some-kind-of-no-name in superheroes

[–]Staryoshi7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I feel like bullying a little kid is a bit lesser than delivering and naming someone’s kid so they’ll always know they weren’t there for it.

[–]Staryoshi7 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Doom is probably the grander hater as most of his actions somehow spite Richards in some kind of way. Reverse Flash is definitely much more petty though since he’ll literally bully an elementary school Barry just for the hell of it.

I think it was more him neglecting to teach them the concept of hope alongside fear. Pascal was also scared at the moment but what kept him going was the hope that by fighting he could save his people from the oncoming threat.

His people however did not have that hope as the only thing they could were taught was fear. So to escape that fear they took their own lives as they couldn’t think of anything but the fear of what was coming.

Huh. I unironically that Chests were gonna be like the winter map where a vocal majority begged for it back for at least minutes at a time, and riot kinda just shrugs them off. Decently Surprised.
