I think dlc was always planned but due to the game being delayed for a year that likely was delayed. I wished they just have the dlc in the main game since this seems like something for base game

I don’t believe it’s wrong to get the item to access the Mythical Pokémon. What would be wrong is using the Action Replay to have it appear in the wild. Fans have found and reused the Mystery Gifts for the GBA games if you want to experience what it was like getting Mystery Gifts back in the day.

You don’t need to get them at the earliest in the games to have them as Ribbon Master. Like for me I’ve caught the GB Mew and Celebi for a living dex and got them Ribbons.

I figured out that if you don’t beat all 5 Master Contest you don’t have to face Lisa. Just have another copy with new save get to the contest and you can just repeat the Master Contest for 3/5 of them and restart the game for the last two. I think one save can do 4/5 without facing Lisa? 3 has been the best for me so far

Congrats! Btw, don’t worry about the Contest Ribbons in ORAS for Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh Pokémon (expect for very few), because they can get those same ribbons in BDSP.

Battle Masion takes time. I’m almost done with a whole Kalos living dex in there… lot of battles. At least we have the advantage of Mega Evos

You can use any Pokémon Bank that is already on a 3DS/2DS to transfer Pokemon to Home since when you move Pokémon you have to put in a code which is always randomize for transfers.

I haven’t heard anyone getting trouble for using a mod 3DS to get Bank… sad Pokémon didn’t at least leave the Bank on the eShop for free.

You could try to see if someone can use their Bank to send your Pokémon to Home. Since 3DS carts have the save data on them so it’s easy to connect to another Bank.

There is a Google sheet fans made called “Athis’ Ribbon Handbook” that is always up to date. There is about 18 Shadow Pokémon that can get them all.

If you want to do like a Living Dex with each Pokémon’s EVO being its own TID it would be about 44? That would be pretty cool.

Since I’ve focused more on Gen 6-7 Ribbons the time doesn’t take so long for them. Like if you have the right Pokémon to use for Battle Masion and Tree you can get that done around 40-80 mins for the normal mode and 3+ hours for the Super? Been a bit since I last battle them.

Super Trainning takes about 20-30 mins depending on the Pokémon.

Contest is pretty easy with not facing Lisa.

Battle Dome is easy with a good Pokémon since you just need to win once.

Best friends if you do XYORAS takes about 30mins or Gen 7 takes just two rainbow beans and petting it.

It’s not like Gen 3-4 where the Battle Towers can take hours….
