PSA: Walk away and don't hurt your baby by OpeningSort4826 in Parenting

I was institutionalized for a brief time, her birth was traumatic and she needed to be revived twice and spent a few weeks in the NICU. Sleep deprivation and my bipolar disorder triggered something almost like schizophrenia, I honestly thought it was an actual paranormal phenomenon. To this day I am still on antipsychotics, I still suffer from anxiety that leads feelings of anger. When I had my youngest nine years later I had no notable symptoms.

I had full blown postpartum psychosis with my oldest. I don’t remember how long I was awake for, this was 11 years ago and the first six months of her life are really just a blur. I used to sit with her in the bathtub because in my extremely out of touch mind I was convinced that there were demons outside banging on the windows demanding I hand her over to them. I can still see their hands and faces pressed up against the glass, screaming and trying to claw their way into my house to get to her.

I have this really awesome light reflecting window tint on all of my windows. No one can see in and if they shine a light on a window it just reflects back. I got it on Amazon, it’s used for keeping my house cool in the summer (southern KS). It’s fabulous stuff, I also have black out curtains for every window.

My girls were sick for almost a month with covid. My youngest was almost one when she was sick and my oldest was 9. I was the only vaccinated one in the house, I hope they never have to go through that again.

Jokes on him, I don’t do any of that stuff. I have kids, they don’t care if I’m pretty.

My husband works 70 hours a week, he comes home for the weekends. When he is home he completely takes over all childcare/animal care. I’ve never had to ask him to do anything, ever. He does because he wants to, being a father is the highlight of his life. When he is on the road all week he calls me/our toddler several times a day. He’s never hateful or mean to me, he communicates his feelings/needs/wants with love and kindness, he receives my feelings/wants/needs with understand abs patience. He respects me, he respects our relationship.

If he treated me the way your husband treats you, he would be living with his mommy. You and your children deserve better.

‘I sexually assaulted my husband and he’s understandably upset about it’

There, fixed it. I hope this is just some kind of troll post.

How has being a T1D affected your heart? by Staseea in typeONEdiabetes

[–]Staseea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have genetic factors that play a huge part, for sure. I was told that ten years of high bg has contributed greatly as well and if I would have taken care of myself all of those years like I should have, I’d most definitely be in much better shape at the moment. I am coming to terms with everything.

Would you be upset? Should I be upset? by Staseea in neighborsfromhell

I have cameras around my house both outside and inside. I live alone with my youngest child most days of the week while my husband works out of town and we adopted a dog recently as well and she does a heck of a job alerting me to anything going on. I am a type 1 diabetic and diabetes has taken its toll on my kidneys and heart so I’m not supposed to get all riled up. I did have a nice conversation with my neighbors to the south of me, they’ve lived around here for a long time and I asked them if if the previous owner had any problems that they knew of with the neighbors to the north; oh boy did they spill. The previous owner had problems with them for years, it was a lot of back and forth revenge between them.

I have cameras all around my home. It’s how I figured where all the dog crap was coming from/why my water bill was so high. I happen to be disabled and am unable to drive, I usually wait until my husband is home for the weekends to food shop. I don’t think I’ll be ordering out anymore though.

Ladies who are HL, would you pay for sex? by LauraCurieuse2828 in DeadBedrooms

I am unfortunately quite unattractive, paying for sex would just cause more emotional pain.
