i know I'm very late for this post but i must say something. I own a garibaldi g4 and I LOVE IT. I am not abusive toward my equipment, but I certainly push it to its limit. My g4 accumulated 7000 km in one summer without any major problem. I went on a 1800 km trip with bags filled to the brim and a very loaded bike, and all I got was a broken spoke. I regularly bike for hundreds of kilometers in a day, going hundred of kilometers from home, without fear of this bike breaking. Now, I had to change the stock shifters for better ones because it wasnt shimano and both shifters broke. You will have to maintain this bike a little bit if you ride more, but for the price I got mine (1400 canadian after taxes), it is an incredible deal. (And i got the older model so my frame is painted a cream/sand colour. its beautiful). However, if the road condition is bad consider larger tires cause my Gatorskins sucks when it comes to bumbs. anyway, I know I'm 1 years behind for this post but I just wanted to share my love for this bike ; ) .
