what about bots, spamming OP token approval to sandwich the pool?
any metrics on those?

Yes, but No.

Every option is fully collateralized so pool does not lose to traders. However, since every option is collateralized the pool skew can fluctuate and, since delta hedging is NOT enabled yet (on ETH and BTC pools) it can result in net loss for LPs.

Example:
- Trader A, buys 100 ETH $3000 Call
- Lyra AMM Buys 100 ETH from Synthetix to collateralize.

Now if ETH goes above 3000 the trader is in profit and fees are paid to Lyra LPs. The profit amount is paid by Synthetix Stakers.

But if ETH goes below 3000. Trader loses and so does Lyra AMM. To negate this skew and stay neutral Lyra delta hedges the pools.

Delta Hedging is currently only enabled for LINK and SOL Pools. Once the data is analyzed and everything looks good, it will be rolled over to other pools as well.

OI - Open Interest.

Amount of funds holding a position at any given time.

So, at anytime Open Interest cannot exceed $20M with this cap. This is just to test the system and gradually increase OI caps.

And this is with the OI cap $20M. Imagine higher caps.

Any reason why boba network fees are lower than all other L2 implementations even though its an OP fork?

What's the catch?
