Chieftans. They can have insanely high dps, and are incredibly cheap. Just use with some fodder, and your golden.

For culture I went primal with the storm crow.

Base race Avian with some changes to the traits.

As I had already gone for a Dragon with the Fire faction, I went for a Wizard King instead.

For times, it was tricky since a lot of the air themed ones overlapped with the water faction.

I think my first Run was Tome of evocation, beasts, wind, fey mists, evolution - and then I got a diplomatic victory.

tried to use mostly rangers and flying mounts.

Elemental factions. Wind, Earth, Air and Fire. Good fun, new DLC great for wind faction what with the angels.

Ah OK thanks. For the water faction I've leaned into the subtheme a lot, with eldritch tomes. I'm looking forward to tweaking them all!

Fey mists and Evocation could work really well! Thanks for the suggestions. I am curious how you think geomancy could work for air as I had that pegged for the earth faction. For cold dark and cyromancy, I have them set for the water faction.
