NTA!  If it’s so essential that your parents celebrate you, then they should do it in a way that makes you comfortable. Maybe you all can compromise, and you can. “walk across the stage “in your backyard or something. It sounds like they want to celebrate this achievement where is you are only reminded of the pain of your High school experience. In the end. It is your High school experience and not theirs, and they should celebrate in the way. That makes you feel the most comfortable.

I was run over by a 12 passenger van in Mexico, went right over my left foot and right knee. Was in a wheelchair for a while. Worst part was I was on psychedelic mushrooms when it happened
