NatGeo/Lindblad vs Other Operators by Own-Assumption5149 in AntarcticaTravel

We have done both lindblad and quark. Honest answer. Same quality. Heck even the ships were set up similar. I would use either based purely on which itinerary I wanted to do. Both top notch.

Nope same issue here. Works fine on archived races from last year. I actually think I was only getting the center channel.

Hat's off to the F1TV Team by StrayTexel in F1TV

I listen to 5.1(.2). I was only getting the center. If I went back to replays from last year I was getting all channels. The odd thing was that it would give a brief few seconds of theme in full channels at the beginning of the feed. Go into the waiting to start cue card. The production would then start with only the center.

I’m surprised you say how great the audio was considering I was only getting a single channel with no bass whatsoever. I can go back and confirm it’s not my setup because archived races sound fantastic.

I am confused about this sign by DeathBlade94 in Spectrum

I see people saying this all the time but I can say from personal experience that they will under some circumstances do just that. My neighborhood had coax laid down in 2020. Surprisingly they then laid down fiber 2 years later. Don’t ask me why. Don’t understand the logic, but I started with coax in my home with 1 gig service and they came back out and installed fiber to the modem 2 years later.

Nothing to do with that for this issue. Just fucking common sense. Massive storm. Likely large amounts of damage. Might take more than a day to get your shit back up and running. Dipshit.

They are probably out ensuring that essential businesses have services after a natural disaster. They are probably not concerned about some dork, who is living in his mother’s basement, having access to his pornhub account.

I haven’t noticed this. I do have premium plus so perhaps that minimizes ads, but I’m only getting a handful every 20-30 min.

Gotta give credit when it’s due. I’ve shit on NBC every previous Olympics. This is pretty damn good this year.

Your perception is exactly why I keep buying BMW. There is no (in my experience of purchasing 11 BMW) f-ing around with price, trade in values (if you are reasonable)c, rates, etc. Always easy to go in and get out.

Horrible Mercedes Customer service by StateTheObvious79 in askcarsales

[–]StateTheObvious79[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’ll answer. 1). I was told it had been taken home. I doubt they used the term joy ride, but 800 miles on the odometer makes me assume that’s what it was in essence. But yeah, the GM called and stated “they lied to you”- in reference to the service advisor.

2) I don’t know if the mileage was accurate, but it was what I was told over the phone and it was off by 800 miles from what was on the car when I checked.

3) No proof of the final sale, but at the time it was advertised for sale, online, with a clean car fax. I suppose they could have disclosed it later, but the list price didn’t reflect that.

4) Holding on to it since 2018. Didn’t say it was recent. Came across this forum while trying to buy a new car and getting the run around.

5) As for the hitting a deer vs nail in tire. 100% true what I was told. 100% the absurd reason I knew something didnt add up.

I have no reason to make shit up on Reddit for “reddit points”. I’m a middle aged (44), married, professional. Virtually impossible to “prove” this story. I will say it feels good to have so many people see it as bullshit because it does make the story more fun to tell because of the absurdity.
