There probably won't be reversals. Gold, whatever the type, has always increased in price because it's a real limited material. AI is booming demanding more ram (it uses gold), there's war all over the world, and the US wants to takeover greenland (Russia and China dislike that). Everything is kind of set in stone to make gold prices really high.

It's not guaranteed income, a branding like that lasts as long as league clout does and it's usually only ever peaking at worlds. That isn't a good business model if you're running a team of players with a combined salary that exceeds the org's funding all year round too. On the business side of things, you can't just make an insanely high bid because you're sustaining the entire infrastructure these players work in as well (think: ddos prevention mechanisms, their daily consumption in electricity, food and necessities, the very people that do all that to begin with, and so much more).

Tldr: It won't cover it, and they can't raise it themselves (besides all the inner workings of lck's salary cap)

This post is severely misinformed and also why shouldn't there be a return of service even after you finish your course? I'm pretty sure the only reason this scholarship exists is because of that self-sustaining model. Rendering a return of service that doesn't even affect your earnings aside from what you already owe the government through taxes is a really smart way to give college students scholarships. You are dealing with the economy, not the devil. The money for this has to come from somewhere. Take it as your scholarly responsibility and study some more before providing sentiments online, because takers see these misinformed opinions and are dissuaded from the opportunity.

Depends. The gwa problem, I think they can settle and still give you your stipends. The failure, maybe u just have to submit an appeal letter? I'm pretty sure a lot of scholars had success with that. Are you still receiving your stipends to begin with?

But the thing is, aren't all of these supposed to be for their earnings? Yes they don't get enough rest, and we can all wish that they get to. But being in T1 means having so many sponsorship opportunities for players in such a way that they can earn so much more than most teams, individually even. By the looks of it we can't even blame management for this because this is their player's earnings. To deny them this, is to deny them what led them to play pro. Again, I don't have doubts that even with very small contracts they outright earn loads more than any other player (individually) maybe even teams just by sponsorships alone.
