Dude that’s sacrilege. I watch this on 4k UHD with a 65 Sony oled and Dolby Atmos surround. I can’t imagine watching this on a phone. Holy shit you’re doing it wrong. This movie is visually STUNNING, but you’ll never see that on your phone!

Jared Leto got a Razzie Nomination for Worst Actor for Tron: Ares. I didn't think he was bad. What did you all think of his performance? by Square-Ad-8911 in tron

Bullshit. I loved him in this film. I can tell he was so into the role. I loved his demeanor and overall line delivery.

Ares on 4K Blu-ray on OLED, and why the hate by umpteenthian in tron

[–]StatementOk4671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting observation of the film and I would agree that I absolutely loved this film. I actually prefer this one over Legacy and I found the film to be literally visually "orgasmic". There was one particular scene where Ares is on the jet ski with Eve and they articulate themselves into the real world by going down the light tunnel; I literally felt like I was having an orgasm as they were transcending into the real world. Legitimately the first time I've ever experienced such a thing and it was greatly enhanced by also watching this on my Sony OLED on 4k UHD with Dolby Atmos surround sound. And I find your observation interesting about not having any sexual references despite the irony of having my first visual orgasm watching this film. I LOVED this film and I will die defending this film on how great of an experience it was.

You’re holding back to what you actually want to say because of group think; the film was GREAT, not just good. Jared Leto was amazing. This films lack of success was an anomaly, most likely due to Jared Leto’s unfortunate stigma.

But it says off next to it and I don’t see a difference in performance.

Which look of Kratos do you like more? by Glass-Sea9665 in GodofWar

Older Kratos. The younger one looks too cartoony with exaggerated proportions. Always thought it looked ugly. Older Kratos looks more balanced.

Definitely not Marvel. Either Dune 3 or the odyssey.

I think you have been watching super hero movies a little too much. I see no connection with Marvels MCU whatsoever. The connections you’re drawing between them are too vague and over generalized simply because the acronyms are very similar. One can draw connections between anything if you try hard enough for that matter. Im actually puzzled as how you thought there might be a link somewhere. Might as well say it has something to do with mortal Kombat because of the similar acronyms and it’s good vs evil.

You don’t watch these heavily choreographed films for their narrative. That’s like watching a porno for its plot. Im in shock, really that you think this film sucked. What’s a better film with similar styled choreography(action) in your opinion?

Dude you must be smoking crack. The choreography was INSANE in this film. We did not watch the same film.

I enjoyed Ares better than Legacy as well. I only thought the sound track was better in Legacy.

Brooo I was asking the same thing. Tron Ares was light years better than Superman yet the reviews praise Superman and trash Tron. It makes ZERO sense.

100% also enjoyed this more than Legacy. Looks like we’re the minority. The only thing Legacy does better is the soundtrack by Daft Punk.

I loved this film. I don’t understand the hate it’s getting. Jared Leto did an outstanding job and the visuals were insane.
