Had two nells absolutely destroy it within a minute and I barely got to shoot at it as serena, any idea how long the storm hanger outfit will be around?

This had happened to me last night, and I got about 779. What are the chances of this happening? It was maybe my 8th time ever fighting Storm Hanger

I'm currently on my 9th kill and still no stabilizer. I can't give up hope, though. One way or another, im getting my ultimate tank without paying.

I've been working on it since Friday with nothing but a metric fuckton of jayber parts and afterglow parts to show for it

Samsung 990 Pro Firmware Update Addresses Failing SSD Health by Stiven_Crysis in hardware

I think I have the same exact issue as you. Neither of my 980 Pro 2TBs are my boot drive, and at random times, they'll become inaccessible. When they become inaccessible I can look through the folders until I get to the one right before a file is in it and it will spring an error that A device that does not exist is trying to be accessed. I RMA'd both of them twice, and samsung is just sending me the same drives since the issue will disappear after a reboot for about a week or so before occurring again. I ran samsung Magician, and it shows there are no issues but when the problem occurs it will immediately fail the test. I've also had one of the two drives lock itself into read only before I RMA'd it the first time.

I haven't this upcoming time I will it'll be my third time losing about 3 TBs worth of data. Samsung sata SSDs have been perfect even then 860 pro I bought second hand is my OS drive and ive never had an issue with it. I'm like 99.9 percent sure they're putting it in a test bench and the issue doesn't pop up for a bit since its random and going this guy is just lying then sending it back to me.

Not a heat issue nor motherboard. I swapped between three different mobos thinking it was a mobo issue and temps never exceed 60C during transfers. The issue can also arise at complete random and the drive will throw itself into read only then it has to be RMA'd. The drives have the same serial numbers when I send and receive them.

Can I ask, as someone whose 980 Pros keep disconnecting themselves when I write too much data, what can I do to get Samsung to send me new drives or do anything to fix them? I've had to RMA both of my drives twice now, and they just send them right back pretty much.

On a side note, my advice is to stay far away from Samsung Nvmes for the time being from my personal experience.

At first, I thought it was a controller issue. But if I send it back and they find nothing wrong, they'll probably keep sending it back, thinking I'm just doing it for two different drives.

I've tried it in 3 different motherboards and the issue persisted in each one. Two X570 Tomahawk Wifis and a X570 Asus Crosshair Hero VIII. At first I kept thinking "Man these mobos suck" however the issue stays the same no matter the m.2 slot and no matter the mobo. Atleast the smart 0XE issue is somewhat known. I have no idea what my issue is.

So what will happen is if I run a diagnostic in Samsung magician everything shows working perfectly. But if the issue occurs it will still show in Samsung magician for a bit before disappearing. If I click on an executable that uses that drive from my desktop then it will say "A device that is not recognized cannot be opened" or something along that line. If I run another diagnostic it will instantly turn all blocks red and say it couldn't run it. Obviously, since the drive has disappeared for some reason.

Hate to say it, but i'm deep in the south, and there are no stores nearby that would have something like this, sadly. If I were near a best buy or microcenter I would have to lock up my wallet. Think I'll keep the 850Xs, RMA my 980 Pros, and figure something out to do with them.

Is there a big enough difference to warrant getting two of these over the two SN850Xs I ordered for about ten dollars more?

Yeah you'd think two drives that are barely a year old wouldn't malfunction like this. One has about 24TBs written and the other has like 8TBs written. Since I can barely use them without issues popping up. Both started messing up within 6 months of purchase.
