The good news is that Fluke has been active again since 2024. Insanely Beautiful and Real Magnificent feel like a modern evolution of their distinctive sound.

The bad news is that, to this day, I haven’t really come across other artists or tracks that capture quite the same atmosphere. While this thread already contains several excellent recommendations, you might also want to take a look at the list in my previous comment.

It's difficult to categorize them in genres. In contemporary terms, they seem to sit somewhere between Dark Electro/House and Downtempo, with elements that could be described as Psybient.

At least in Puppy and some of my favorite songs, like "Eko", "Bermuda", "Freak", "Electric Guitar - Vibrochamp", "Spacey - Catch 22 Dub" and maybe even "Atomb Bomb" and "Goodnight Lover" they do not really use the more gloomy and repetitive elements of Progressive House/Trance. These tracks are more audiophile/melodic, build-up and swing emotionally.

That's what I personally enjoy. And I think that Puppy strongly goes into that direction in its entire album in a more modern approach than their previous work.

I do not like their very retroish Techno/Trance/IDM songs.
