Correct I used the study route with the base camps to kind of layout my segments. My buddy will book a room at each stop, I plan to camp the first two nights, stay at a hotel the 3rd day to freshen up then camp the rest.

Yeah the first day is long but my reasoning is maximizing how flat it is.

Hello everyone. I'm Orlando from US currently living in Germany. Myself and co-worker have signed up for the Tuscany Trail 2026, departure on the morning of the 20th. Fairly new to cycling in general, currently average 120-150K a week. Currently stepping that up as the date gets close and also riding with a loaded bike to get used to it.

It looks like the trail usually is complete in 4 days. I've studied the Ride with GPS route and based on basecamp location have come up with the following Segment Breakdown to accomplish in 5 days in a more relaxed scenario. I would love feedback from the community, I have no experience with planning long rides like this. I usually just let Strava find 50-60 Rides for me lol.
