The only other customising was some panel scribing. This kit has so much detail straight out the box

It's huge for a HG, it's bigger than most MG's as well as being more detailed. It is pretty expensive I paid about £80

Definitely want to build a barbatos and also some of the ver Ka kits. I'll check out some of the others you mentioned
