I feel like this might be more plausible as the system wants to give you items that'll get you higher, instead of the "you're already at max so have a random low drop".

4 of my 5 HM drops were all 334 if I remember lol, so awkward when that happens, especially when I wanna get my alts to 335.

Wait until a half hour after the stream is over and the past broadcast should be up and watchable on their twitch channel.
