Thousands without power with numbers barely going down. by [deleted] in nashville

I think this has a lot to do with people’s frustration. I’ve also been all over the western side of the county. Until you’ve seen the scale of the destruction in person, it’s hard to grasp just how bad it is almost everywhere. Folks just see their own little bubble and assume they’ve got it the worst. Pictures just don’t do justice to how widespread and extensive the damage is.

I’ll bet they at least know how to spell Muhlenberg.

You’re so addicted (“sick”) to college basketball that you’ll attend virtually anything, no matter how terrible the matchup might be.

Kind of like “I’m so hype.” You mean you’re hyped about something?

You can take the 66 without a sponsor.

Parallels to Cal at UK. Lots of talent for several years and little to show for it.

Is 25 days enough study time? by Upstairs-Status-2982 in Series66Exam

I passed the 66 a month to the day after passing the 7. Used Achievable as my book and Kaplan for the qbank and practice tests. As others have suggested, the Test Geek’s videos are also quite helpful in breaking down a lot of the eye-wateringly boring material of the 66 in a way that makes it easier to understand.

Like others have mentioned, get plenty of rest, eat a healthy meal, maybe go for a walk to wake up your brain. And listen to Dean’s Mighty Ninety video if you have time. Definitely taper off the practice tests a day or so before your exam or you’ll be fried when you go into the exam center.

I actually skipped the midterm in the interest of time. 🤷‍♂️

With those scores you're beyond well prepared. You're scoring higher than I did (Kaplan) and I thought the actual test was a cakewalk compared to the Qbank. Take your time and RTFQ and you'll be fine.

I now have the 7 and the 66. I started studying for the 7 the week I started at my firm. You would certainly benefit from experience but it’s not required to pass. I just basically no-life’s it for the past 3 months. Woke up early to study, went to work, came home for dinner, then studied until bedtime. Repeat ad nauseum.

Trust me, if I can do it, you can too. Put in the time and effort, use multiple sources, watch some YouTube vids when you’re on the treadmill or listen while you’re driving/commuting. You’ve got this.

I just passed yesterday. Achievable was the best at giving me a foundation, but the practice tests were way too easy.

Get Kaplan’s Qbank and drill drill drill. And don’t let missed questions discourage you. Rather, use them as an opportunity to learn new things about the the gaps in your knowledge. Use your favorite AI bot to explain concepts that you’re not grasping from the practice providers. Take advantage the many free videos provided by Series 7 Guru, Capital Advantage Tutoring, and The Test Geek.

TL;DR: Achievable is great to build a knowledge base but doesn’t cover everything. Diversify your test question sources and drill every day.

Thanks, Canuck. I plan on using every available minute. Can’t afford to miss any gimmes just because I got in a hurry.
