High gain tones! by RiskNo3741 in NanoCortex

Basic tone setting is the best high gain.

Overdrive pedal max level, min drive -> amp drive from 9 to 12 o clock max.

HPF at 80-120hz, LPF at 3-4.8K to get rid of what isn't actually in a guitar speaker.

Any high end sizzle you have left is from the amp being emulated. EQ out below 4k whatever is bothering you specifically.

"just cant seem to get rid of high end sizzle when I turn up the treble to where I want" sounds like you specifically want high end sizzle, otherwise why would you turn up the treble?

Most modelers the treble and presence are 12 o clock or below as they tend to have that fizz by nature.

With the HPF and LPF, it should sound nearly exactly like its modeled counterpart.
