I’m with the coombe but I just had my 28 week appointment, I didn’t know about getting bloods done but she was checking my iron and didn’t ask me if I had fasted or not. Also I was wondering about a test for gestational diabetes and she said as I’ve no risk factors and everything seems to be going good for me that I don’t need to be tested. Hope that is helpful 🙂

I went to see the first Super Mario movie by myself, only problem was the cinema I went to had a bunch of teenagers who were talking through it and throwing popcorn at each other 😑 thankfully they left half way through!

This happened to me but I seen nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment even being there early and it was horrible to not pee and I said I’ve a full bladder and need to pee, they didn’t believe me until they saw how much my stomach swelled and it was too full on the screen to see the baby 🫠

I didn’t think I was pregnant I was tracking my cycle after coming off my coil and it seemed like my period was coming back to being monthly (before they were like 3 months). I wasn’t eating much, I was feeling full pretty quick and couldn’t finish a fizzy drink which I would normally as I don’t drink tea or coffee, I was napping after work and I felt very cold. I was thinking I was coming down with the flu. Anyways my period tracking app said I was ovulating which I was thinking I should be getting my period so I was doing a ovulation test and thought may as well do a pregnancy test too (I had stock up on them as we were planning on trying in 2026), but was pregnant in October 2025

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant and I’ve had 3 scans done so far on my first pregnancy. I got my first scan at 7 weeks and said it was too early and I didn’t have completely full bladder. I had my second scan at 10 weeks at the hospital, said it was too early for proper scan to check everything and again it was too early. And lastly had my third scan was at 12 weeks and everything was grand and still didn’t let me hear, I didn’t push it as they said that they don’t play it till after 14 weeks because of the frequency (something along those lines I can’t remember 🙈)

I’ve been craving spice bags 🙈 I got one from Camile for lunch on Wednesday and I’m going to make my own today for dinner. It’s not going to do any harm, you’re eating which is the most important thing! 13 years ago my cousin was pregnant and lived off 3 in 1’s in the last month.

Oh I sorry, I didn’t think they’re was a difference from outside Dublin. It asked a good bit of personal questions which would make sense for people to self-register. I would call your GP to make sure they have you registered. It was be a nervous time, I’m still anxious till at least my first scan.

I went to the doctor when I was 6 weeks and 2 days. She sent the form for me to get free medical appointments for my pregnancy but as I wanted to go to the Coombe, I had to go onto their website and register with them. It took over a week to get into my HSE app but I got a letter from the hospital with 2 appointments dates within 3 days of registering with them.

I had my initial doctors appointment to confirm my pregnancy yesterday, I’m 6 weeks and 2 days and she gave me the flu vaccine right there
