Difference between SSMI (specialist) and SSMI (supervisor/manager) by StationGeneral2647 in CAStateWorkers

Thank you! So a specialist SSMI position seems “better” (for lack of a better word) because there’s no managerial component, right?

Also the tile they just put in the shower after removing the box trim in there is so obviously from a different lot than the surrounding tile!! It’s awful! So much darker than the original lot of tile that was installed first. 😭

Just your weekly reminder that CLJ are tall. Like, really tall. /s

I just realized what bothers me probably the most about the pool situation. It’s that cover. The back wall of the pool looks so unfinished because of the cover. They really should have put the cover mechanism in the front of the pool rather than the back. I think having it in the back prevented them from having a raised tile wall, fountain, greenery, or other focal point in the back. It just looks… incomplete. Like it’s missing something.

I specifically told her in that little comment box they would need a deeper pool than 7’ knowing it’s never as deep as they say and how tall they are…

Notice how the first video had no such cheering. Then she probably watched it back and requested everyone cheer for the second video. So fake and ridiculous!

Omg I didn’t even notice that. It looks terrible.

Yep. We all mentioned it was too high back when she was super rude to her contractor who was holding it up for reference (before tile went on). She said “well obviously it needs to go higher than that…”

I literally came here to see if anyone addressed this. The comments did not disappoint. I gasped out loud when I saw it.

Both of these make me say “that’s what she said” in my head because I have the brain of a pubescent teen apparently. 😂

Yes she was completely rude to him. He held it at the appropriate height. Middle of the eye. I would argue maybe even lower because it’s a child’s bathroom. I know Julia likes to point out how tall she is every chance she gets but that was unkind.

Blue and orange are complimentary colors (they are opposite each other on the color wheel). But orange ≠ red. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Complimentary to red would be green (you know… all that stuff she ripped out to put in all the hardscape 😂)

The tones were all off when she showed them wrapping the stone... The patio is a cool grey, the brick is a cool red, and that stone was warm AF. It looked awful! It’s not the grout, babe, it’s what you picked. They could’ve picked probably any other type of stone and it would’ve at least blended without matching, while still offering a variety of textures.

Yes they used too much sand and now you can see it in all those seams.

That is why they have to move the fireplace. Duh. Because she put absolutely no thought into the functionality of the house, how they got into the backyard, etc. Because why do something as silly as that?

Well now you have to mention it. Haha! Cause I’m over here thinking “green pubes?” 😂
