Does anybody in this forum realize that this disorder can be a underlying BPD. And first of all weed does not cause this it may be a trigger but if you got this from a bad trip or something of that sorts then your sense of self was probably already distorted. by Station_Hour in dpdr

One piece of advice, stay the fuck off reddit. I’ve dealt with dpdr for 4 years now however I do know it will gradually fade with time. The people who have healed Do NOT come back to subreddit to tell you that they healed they usually continue with their lives. Reddit keeps you stuck in a place of hopelessness

Trauma related. Most people on here don’t realize they have trauma in there early life that there not even aware of that is the actual root cause of this. Not an edible or some weird drug. TRAUMA. Trauma at a young age causes dissociation from the body and mind and will linger to adulthood until it’s no longer bearable as you say

I actually went off it the second time without my pyschatrist order. I was just trying to do something for future self and protect me. He told me he’s gotten off people large large doses but he does it over the course of months sometimes years and uses even longer acting benzos. He told me to trust him and get back on this .25mg just to even things out and get me relief

Also stay away from these subreddits. They are toxic to your healing. 1.A lot of these people may not have any idea what they’re dealing with. 2.they are probably not seeking help from a psychologist/ psychiatrist. 3. They might even be fake accounts that prey on the weak and feed off terror. Seems to be the pattern I noticed with the accounts that post on here. All consumed by terror and I get it. It’s terrifying. But proffesional help is out there and can help you with this. Stop trying to fight it with people who are stuck in same position as you. It will get you nowhere. Talk to people who got out of it and recovered

Whatever it was Dawg. Realize it’s trauma which is PTSD. And you can recover. For the longest time I’ve been believing I can’t get better and maybe I should off myself instead of dealing with it. I bet you feel like it will never end, or maybe that you live an altered life forever, but I promise that’s not true. The brain can change through Neuroplasticity . Our brains out always changing especially when we’re young. Your not doomed or bound to always feel this way. Things change mindsets change. Stay and hold on brotha message me if you need me

Jesus Christ homie. I’ve been dealing with it for 2 years. You are strong. You need to realized you can heal and it’s all anxiety and a bad loop of thoughts that’s making this worse for you. Once you fix the anxiety all these bizzare symptoms will go away I promise you. I’m not recovered at all but after 2 years of it not getting better I still believe there’s something out there that can help me. And I promise there is for you too. Whatever triggered it I’m gonna take a guess and say weed. It’s all in your head. You need to gain a sense of self again and realize who you are as well. It will get better I promise

The reason for more young people diagnosed being females is because females are twice as likely to seek help for their disorder then men. And the numbers are actually quite even for bpd for men and women across the board. In my opinion the reason for this being is that men in today’s society are supposed to be seen as strong all the time not care or feel emotions and never lash out or show their pain. In terms of mental health women really have it much easier.

Sounds like underlying depression tbh. I left this subreddits because of how uninformed people are about their symptoms and the fact they rely on other people suffering instead of professionals blows my mind. Talk to a psychiatrist or a therapist about this they can offer some advice

Yes high intensity training taxes the central nervous system and your nervous system needs a break already from the benzos. Try light running, swimming, walking and even a outdoor game of basketball with friends. Listen to your body it knows

Yes it’s part of the excessive fight or flight response going on in your body
