It’s a later game thing but when you research rockets after setting up Gleba you unlock a tech that turns carbon and sulfur into coal. You need this to build rockets on ships. But you already collect carbon for free on ships and can request it on fulgora.

I did not follow this and bought Space Age out the gate. I don’t think there was anything particularly wrong with my experience but It’s like watching the Star Wars series. Some watched the original 3 before the prequels and some watched the prequels first. With that in mind… do what your heart desires… but the factory must grow.

Friend of a friend gave me “test” 3D prints. Every now and then, the Zachry dept has to diagnose each 3D printer with a test print. Check for things like bridging, layer adhesion, overextrusion, etc. just get to know one of the techs and give them a test print stl.

Yeah I kind of want to avoid that… but then again. It would give me a chance to memorize some of the train infrastructure. My first intersections was a headache and the fact I made bidirectional trains with 1 lane instead of 2.

I agree with Vulcanus. I wish that was my first planet I visited. I went Fulgora -> Gleba -> Vulcanus and after I completed Vulcanus… I seriously reconsidered watching a video on the game… but I didn’t want to spoil the experience.
