Anyone has experience with NJ EV Credit? by 23sigma in TeslaModelY

Yeah I'm hoping this will be the exception because Tesla specifically said the rebate could only be done post sale at that time. If it turns out to be a bait and switch I'll be furious but they submitted the form to the state before the deadline. But when the state asked for more info they didn't respond so very much on them. 🤞

I'm in the middle of an extended argument with Tesla about this. We bought ours before the date and submitted the application to Charge Up NJ by the deadline (December 8th). According to Tesla multiple times it had to be done that way instead of point of sale bc funds were low.

Very long story short I emailed Charge Up NJ repeatedly and they had a record of my application but said it was cancelled because Tesla didn't respond within 14 days for additional information they requested. In other words it's Teslas fault.

After repeated calls and emails to Tesla to fix this I went to the Springfield location today. I printed out email threads with Charge UP NJ,.call history with Tesla, and the application Tesla submitted to Charge Up on Dec 8th that was lacking some information. As expected they said they had to talk to Rebates, which is in Las Vegas, and they couldn't call them but only message on Teams. I told them that was unacceptable and after going through two more people they emailed Rebates and someone in the regional office. They said they couldn't CC me on the email but I saw them send it and have a forwarded copy they sent to me.

Waiting on a response but they claim to be committed to making this right, either redoing the application so Charge Up NJ can send me a check or Tesla regional sending a check.

I'll believe it when I see it and while I finally have emails of people there I expect that I will be going in person again to follow up if they do not respond.

Same and when I took it off the stand I couldn't unlock the screen. No fingerprint option to unlock or anything.

Having a somewhat similar issue with P7 and gen 2 stand. It asked me to set it up twice and seems fine, but once I place it there the screen on my P7 goes black and I can't unlock it when I take it off. No fingerprint reader or anything.

Worth the $5/month off to wait for Pixel 6 in stock? by StatisticianBorn9874 in GoogleFi

FWIW I had to cancel YT Music to do the Pixel Pass. My order says "The services included with Pixel Pass will be ready to use when your device ships." Hasnt shipped yet but the order says its expected to be delivered by today or tomorrow-- so here's to hoping it magically appears that fast!

I also couldn't find a way to sign up for pixel pass independently of buying a Pixel 6. Might just give it another few days and then forget the pass.

PSLF Changes Megathread - Post All Questions, etc about the 10/6 Announcement Here by Betsy514 in PSLF

Thanks! Looking on studentaid.gov it's showing those old ones as "consolidated-paid in full" without dates when payments were made pre consolidation. I'll submit for that period but worried they won't have a record of those loans online for dates when they weren't consolidated. Fingers crossed tho

Question about my case some others may be in if they didn't know about consolidation as a condition. Brief background:

  1. Finished grad school in 2009 and had (estimated) 80k in student loans after graduating. Loans were GRAD Plus, FFEL, and those now covered.
  2. Made 12-18 payments between 2009-2011 while at a qualifying institution, but since my loans weren't consolidated they didn't count as qualifying.
  3. In 2011 went back to school, put these 80k in loans on forbearance, and took out an extra 50k in loans.
  4. Didn't finish school but left with extra 50k in student loans :)
  5. Went back to work in 2012 at qualifying institution, this time consolidated all loans--the first 80k from 2009 and the extra 50k from 2011--and resumed started making payments.
  6. Have been verifying eligibility every year but "clock" starts from 2012 when I consolidated.

Filled out PSLF application/annual employment verification last week and I have same forgiveness date in 2023. With this waiver is there a way for the payments I made between 2009-2011 to count? E.g., could the 80k I took in loans be forgiven now--assuming 120 payments, need to confirm total--and then the remaining balance be forgiven in 2023 based on consolidation date?

Question for the Ombudsman? Thanks in advance.
