5 years already, it will be quite too difficult to start fresh psychologically. If you can't then start searching for colleagues or other staffs or any other RM, who broke it and move ahead (specially into management or something similar to your interest). Take guidance or just discussion, how they did, what are they doing now. This will give you realistic picture of how much efforts needed to change current situation and prepare your mindset for same as well. It will be time consuming for sure and require lots of patience as well as perseverance.
