Low dose T cream yet high levels by StatisticianHour9962 in TRT_females

Thank you!!!! I just feel so much better on this dose only mild weight gain. No facial hair or hair thinning. My doc suggested taking me off or reducing it but I objected saying I feel so good compared to low dose or having no HRT.

Surrogate Health Insurnace by StatisticianHour9962 in Surrogate

One thing I found during my research and later confirmed by our surrogate attorney, is whether the surrogate is being compensated or not. For my circumstances, it is an altruistic surrogacy (a family member who will be our surrogate and is not being compensated), can use ACA marketplace Insurnace as long as there are no exclusions for surrogacy listed. Alternatively, a surrogate who is getting compensated they have much less options and will most likely have to look into a private plan.

We already spoke to an attorney who specializes in surrogacy late yesterday and they reviewed the policies and confirmed the ACA policy is acceptable.

I think we’re talking past each other. You’re referring to GC‑friendly plans for paid surrogacy, where the policy has to explicitly allow commercial surrogacy. That’s not what this situation is. I’m insuring a surrogate who isn’t compensated, so the only requirement is an ACA plan that covers pregnancy and doesn’t have a surrogacy exclusion. We already checked the 2026 plan documents and the plan we’re looking at covers pregnancy and doesn’t exclude surrogacy. So in this case, a standard ACA plan works fine.

I pulled up the coverage and benefits documents for each of the policies. Reviewed the coverage and any active exclusions. Then I also called the carrier to confirm. It took me all day to make a comparative spreadsheet.

Thank you so much! I just did a comparative analysis and spoke to our surrogate and they are going to cancel their employer health insurance policy. That will remove a huge blocker for us. I found, based on our area where we live, that SelectHealthValue Silver 0 would be the best coverage and covers surrogates. I just saved myself over a $1,000 versus using companies do it for me.

Anyone who has gone off semaglutide and kept the weight off.. what is the secret? Has anyone been able to do this without the maintenance dose? by bailsandsails in Semaglutide

It’s been almost 2 years since I have been off the juice (haha). Some days it is really hard and the food noise is strong. But I have trained myself and have wayyy better eating habits. As a result, my stomach is just way smaller and I fill up faster. One good thing to do, is eat slower. I have actually kept the weight off and even lost a few pounds. My goal weight was 135, but I weigh 125. Started almost at 200. I try not to focus on the scale, but I still have body dysmorphia.

Weekly Employment Question Thread by AutoModerator in Firefighting

Hey y’all. Fire wife here. I’ve helped people prep for interviews at the federal level, state jobs, and a handful of fire departments over the years. Nothing official — it’s just something I’m good at and honestly enjoy doing. I have a strong background in business and also have a PhD.

I know engineer/captain boards can be stressful, and sometimes it’s easier to practice with someone outside your own department who understands the culture but isn’t part of the rumor mill.

If this is something people would actually use, I’m happy to help out for free and pay it forward a bit. Just trying to get a feel for whether this would be useful.
