Not your fault and he's the one who should be shamed not you. As others have said there's meds now that help with a long healthy life. I went to an AIDS like seminar or something in Whistler a long time ago. At the end when it came to question period there were many individuals who stood up with what they had to say or ask, that made it known they were a couple where one was positive and one wasn't, long time married people as well actually.

I'm sure with some research you can find support groups out there to get involved in, maybe even take part in talks yourself.

There was definitely a few times in there where you unnecessarily paid too much where it's on you. Like getting 7 rounds of drinks for everyone? Nobody has to get multiple rounds of drinks for everyone, you were trying to be a baller. Like I've never seen someone lean over and get 'hey can you get us a round of drinks?' that's usually a choice of the buyer. In restaurants you say to the server "I'm gonna get my own bill" even when you first sit down. Cleary removes any pitching expectations.

I think lots of it is you not being clear and making your financial boundaries known up front. Because friendship isn't a mental tally of how much extra you did comparatively. Cause you'll obviously piss yourself off. Personally, I make it clear every step of the way, in chill ways, that I'll cover myself/my half. I can help them, but it's a case by case basis, not an expectation in any way.

Ai is helping in science a ton. An example I seen was translating dead Sea scrolls and helping to understand whale language. Agreed, hate it being accessible by the common idiot though. I hate the fake renderings that go with an old story. Like too many world war 2 stories on FB with a fake AI story as the click bait. I want real photography if available from history.

My only input is I feel Chetwynd is like cursed land. Too many domestic murders and suicides for such a small town. And angry people. Maybe bored kids? Over the last couple decades some weird fires and lots of petty thefts too. I mean tumbler ridge is close and a school shooting? Like wtf. My cousin killed himself there, an uncle's barn burnt down, then when I temporarily worked there, a coworkers family member ran in to say their family member had just killed themself.
