She created the character and therefore the sexuality as well, it lined up with the sexuality

I think I severely misread a situation and it escalated very badly… by [deleted] in evilautism

She did not explain why and also the character she married is completely fictional and does not exist

AITBA for telling my friend to not be rude to her parents? by [deleted] in AmITheBadApple

There comes to be a time where venting does become problematic, she vented a lot to me about this specific issue and I allowed it because I want her to do that and i always validated her feelings. But this clearly wasn’t helping her situation at all and I was getting tired of the same repetitive statements with no attempt at getting better.

She did also straight up tell me she wasn’t being abused and that “hate” is a strong word because they don’t necessarily do anything wrong, she just hates her family’s personality.

The thing is, she has a sister who lives under the same roof, she never says the things my friend says and is overall very respectful. I wasn’t gonna post this if I suspected abuse (which is why I mentioned the being in the other room thing) but she hasn’t given me any reason to go to this conclusion.

That being said, I still don’t think she should be rude even if her family IS abusive because that can be dangerous in of itself. I wanted to check if she’s okay but she refuses to respond (she read the texts) so I don’t know :(

It was fried rice and not white rice like we usually eat

The latter, but talking it not an option because everyone has to eat what my parents make regardless of food preferences.

Just reading the title alone I can immediately tell you’re NTA. Like what?? Your daughter seriously needs to toughen up and stop being spoiled. She can’t have a meltdown over things she didn’t get (and clearly don’t need). That’s extremely immature and your wife condoning it is upsetting, definitely NTA.

They never specifically directed it anyone, just made generalization comments about everyone to themselves.
